Nothing new so far?.

Interestingly enough, the Death from the Skies FAQ is an older one than what I have.

That was much faster than I was expecting, but then again I am increasingly pessimistic twards GW. Well done.

However some of them seem to be missing, notably the Tau one that forbids Missile Drones. Also the skeleton FAQ for Daemons is gone altogether, and Eldar have S6 Large Templates for their Support Batteries now that the errata is gone?

Is anything from DftS even relevant anymore?

Looks like just the old ones for now. I have a feeling we'll see more released on a Saturday like they used too (maybe not -this- Saturday, but that's when I plan to check every week).

The lack of version numbers of "last updated" being listed is a bit annoying though.

I'm guessing whatever they've used to build the webstore doesn't support the kinds of pages we used to see on the old one.

At least it's fitting for the Black Library to be a repository of information, just dumb that they aren't at minimum drawing attention to this being the FAQ's new home.

Quite possibly it is now BL writing the FAQ's.

We didn't have one sadly. Then again with all of our erratas being handled by releasing a new version I guess they didn't feel a need to.

The same could be said for every codex released since Tau though, since we haven't had any FAQ updates since then.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Each of the PDFs has a version number and last updated date stamped on it.

Has anyone noticed in the Farsight Enclaves FAQ, after the first page it says "BLOOD ANGELS" at the bottom of the page?

Pretty sure that's really old news and was present in the old FAQ.

Pretty much any modern web cart software can include a download module.

I suspect that it's on the BL site just to keep all of the downloads in one place.

From when I looked into if MT was ever going to get an epub version I learned that Black Library apparently is responsible for creating the ipad and epub books. I would not be suprised if they are also being tasked with the errata and FAQs for those books as the errata should also be done as an update to the digital books.
Edit: Oh and the BL team did not make an MT epub because thy didn't have time. If BL is taking over FAQ production don't expect it to be any more reliable. I would not be surprised if the sudden lack of FAQ updates started because BL took over the FAQs last year.

Well it's the Digital Editions team who works with both the studio and the BL who is making/correcting the digital codexes. The same team also makes Dataslates.

Super interesting is that the Tau FAQ is gone. Wonder if it's intentional-- might be worth testing out missile drone spam since it appears to be back to stay. Is it that good given that the drone isn't twin-linked and can't get a boost from a drone controller?

It's probably not up yet.

Besides, in the digital versions of the codex, missile drones still aren't spammable, I believe.

Well I hope they leave my grav guns alone then, if the SM FAQ isn't up yet I'll bet they're adjusting it.

I don't even care if I get flakk for it, the only thing Grav guns have going for them is the fact that they negate cover and invul saves on vehicles. If they change that then I guess I'll have some cutting and gluing to do!

As has been pointed out numerous times since the faqs went down, the lack of current availability doesn't suddenly render a publication null and void.

The current Tau faq will remain the current Tau faq until it is replaced.

That's not how the BL is apparently approaching it:

On this page you’ll find all current updates to the print editions of Games Workshop’s range of Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey games.
These documents bring the print editions up to date with any recent rules or amends to their digital edition.
Where a book does not have an FAQ's and Errata document, none have yet been issued.

No FAQ on the site? Doesn't exist/count.

Which is fine, except in this case we know that statement is untrue.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by trying to create loopholes where none exist.

If current GW trends continue as they have been perhaps we may have buying faq updates to look forward to.

I'm not trying to do anything, just pointing out that BL's statement creates issues in it's own right.
