I want to make a fully plastic army if I can, I prefer for a reason I cant explain to have all models of the same material if possible, though that isnt a hard rule. It my army is mostly plastic but with one or two resin or metal models that is ok, but I would prefer to source more plastic first. Even if it is a softer plastic.

So I eventually discovered Axis and Allies miniatures, or more accurately rediscovered it and took interest for the first time.

Now I do know that sculpts vary in mold quality, authenticity and scale, but some should be ok, and others can have enough stowage or mud to cover their sins.

So I am looking at the following miniatures as priority

M8 greyhound
Jeep - there are at least three different leleases
Kubelwagen
SD KFZ 71 - Not too important because its listed as 'rare' so it might not sell at a price that worth buying at.

Does anyone own these miniatures and can comment on their suitability. I can accept a poorer quality model but not a notiably out of scale one.

Indeed, but its because they vary in quality and scale that I need to find someone who will individually review the vehicles mentioned in the OP.

One or more may fit the bill like your T26's, and the models I am after do turn up from time to time on eBay.

Edit of OP due to horrendous typo in thread title.

Throgh a bit of research I was able to ascertain that the M8 Greyhound is properly scaled.
By using the later Jeeps I will be able to field a fully plastic CRP for my US Armor company.

With the exceptions of air and sea units all miniatures after and including the 1939-45 release are 15mm. All infantry are 15mm and some vehicles prior to that release.

To find out which are in sale go to Google images and eBay and look at image that show comparisons. This i how i finally worked ou the actual size of the M8 Greyhound, from an eBay seller who had comparison pictures.

We are far from the first to look into this, but so far nobody over the years have bothered to scale up and review all the vehicles providing a compatibility list. I was hoping someone on Dakka with an Axis & Allies Miniatures collection could do this.

Anyway I have bought most of the M8's and jeeps I need for a CRP.

I will review them when I get them, no photos though sorry.
