I just set up my 10k on a table, theirs 20 or so of us playing in the game. I'll post some pictures tomorrow after it all goes down.
The event will take like 3 days, thought I'd post about it since none of us seem to have posted it. If any of you are in Alberta, Canada, and have heard of the Fort McMurray Easter Apoc game, this is it.

I'm doing 10k of Tau, with like, 200 pts of Tempestus thrown in because I forgot 200pts. Theirs so much dakka.... so many castles.... I think I'm already all 40k'd out just from deploying, and I'm on the bottom of the spectrum with only 10k..

I'd bring like 18 Deathstrike missile launchers made out of Chimeras and toilet paper tubes.

That sound awesome! My game store will be doing a similar event over 4th of July weekend. We have almost as many players but I doubt we have that many points lmao! Post lots of pics and have lots of fun!

The game is 380k, Theirs a LOT of parking lots, the Tyranids and Demons are doing VERY well considering they are fighting castles. My Tau are advancing onto the Space Wolves and are half way up the board. Many things died first turn, so many infact that I'm astonished that my army is holding up against it. 100 Kroot are highly effective. I'm about to get rushed by the Eldar wraith armies that are on the 2 tables next to me as I've held my ground and taken ground as well. the 25k of orks next to me is near depleted. Hope may just be lost unless my line holds and my forces can keep advancing to the other 2 objective like I've planned. I'm so drained I'm having a hard time talking about it. SO MUCH FUN THOUGH, while for Guard players it's parking lot and castles, the 2 tau players just keep advancing and taking ground.

10/10 will be increasing my army to 20k for the next year. Still 2 days left though, I'm probably about to be pushed back by the horde of wraithgaurd and Blood Angels DeathCompany

Please please please take as many pictures as possible and make a battle report for your part of the board. There are never enough apoc battle reports here.

I have some pictures, but at this point by the time the rounds are over for the day Im too tired to even bother lol. I decimated my opponents Space Wolves thanks to literally 100 kroot with sniper rifles. My right side is an allies parking lot of Chimera's and another equally skilled Tyranids player. Both are bad and not advancing towards each other so I threw a giant Pie Plate over and killed 20 gaunts to try and scare him into advancing. I felt bad, not doing it again. noobs is noobs.

I'm honestly having a TON of fun, the social aspect is so good, the 2 hours and soemtimes day between turns is so good to plan your next move. Unfortunately the 20k of friendly orks just got steam rolled by an equally large force of Blood Angels and Eldar.... Looks like I'm going to have to take on a leviathan of an army to keep getting objectives.. I'm excited for the Challenge the next 2 turns will bring me.

Also, Farsight killed Arjac. It happened in a 380k game, it must be written into the fluff. Also, a Piranha soaked up 2k of shooting.

Sounds like you're having a great time, what table size are you using? I do find it amusing that Tau are advancing while IG are holding ground.

We need events like this close to me. Hell, I'd be fine with driving 4-5 hours to get there even. Can't wait for pictures.
