If you guessed me then you are right. Wife is pregnant. I wanted to share this with everyone as even though she is pregnant we already had one scare where I had to take her to the ER Wednesday night. I am not up to talking about it openly so if anyone of my friends want specifics please PM me. So far the baby is fine but my wife is considered high risk. I ask that if you believe in a higher power please say a prayer for us.

I've been where you are twice. One ended with a good result, the other, not so much.
It's a very stressful time for all concerned.

Thank you Marv. It is stressful. Some good news though. We had a followup and the tests showed her levels have greatly improved so She is doing better. We are not out of the woods but every bit helps Thank you to anyone that has read this and said a prayer.

I just wanted to give an update. She and the baby are doing a lot better. Thank you to anyone that said a prayer for us.

Seems a bit weird to be asking for forced sympathy (forced as in the way this thread is set up if you were to criticize it, you would look like an ass) from strangers, sorry but someone had to say it.

Ehh, pregnancy troubles are stressful and it's nice to know that people out there care. Maybe buddy has no family to offer support (I've been there) and just needs a little positivity going on.

OK never saw it from that angle maybe he doesn't have much if a family but I hope he has some non-online friends to help him out, like I said it seems weird asking strangers like this I doubt he would ask strangers off the internet to do the same.

No, I'm with you.

I'm was especially surprised with it barely being 8 weeks in. Most OBGYNs advise you don't tell anyone until at least 12 weeks because the rate of misscarriages can be so high in the 1st trimester.

While I agree And hope you get and your wife the best, Asking strangers for prayers that will often seem disingenuous. Ask a Local Church for a prayer to be said or just family members

Regardless of anyone's personal views on why I posted this, be assured this was not the only forum I am a member of that this request was posted on. I do have a few friends on here as well as other sites. I was not asking for 'forced' sympathy. If you do not believe in a higher power then by all means feel free to move on and not reply. I believe in a God and I believe all prayers can help regardless of family or ties outside this forum. Yo can say a prayer for a stranger. It doesn't have to be just for your friends or loved ones.

So if you are offended that I asked for a prayer then sorry. I did not post this thread to get criticized.

I thank you again those that did say a prayer, but as this time as I do not want this to degrade any further, I would ask that a Mod please close the thread.
