According to Codex: Astra Militarum, page 64: "If you attempt to bring a unit on from reserve using Deep Strike, and the location chosen for its deployment is within 6" of a vehicle with an augur array, that unit does not scatter. The augur array must have been on the battlefield at the start of the turn in order for it to be used."

This seems another case of poorly-written rules. My question is this: Who can make use of the augur array? Just C:AM? Detachments? Allied players? Enemy players?

Erm... Badly written? The Space Marine Locator Beacon has the same function, but specifies friendly units (which would mean themselves and battle-brothers only). On the other hand, it does specify if "YOU" are attempting to bring a unit in, so MAYBE you could say that anything that you (as the player who bought the array) attempt to bring in doesn't scatter.

Kind of a weak argument, though.

Your Army, You cannot use your opponents rules.

Until/unless it is FAQ'd that is all of your army no matter which codex they are drawn from.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

It IS quite a bit more expensive than the Space Marine one. Perhaps intentional?
