So this is a fun kinda list, but I wanted to see what others thought of it.

HQ:
Lord Commissar: 120

Ministorum Priest: 25


TROOPS:
Veterans and Chimera: 135
-Forward Sentries
-Shotguns

Veterans: 70
-Forward Sentries


HEAVY SUPPORT:
Leman Russ Exterminator: 150

So pretty much running the priest and LC in the chimera, rushing up and charging something while the tank fires away with the other vets doing what ever else needs to be done. Any C&C is very much appreciated, thank you in advance to anyone who puts there advice in.

It seems like you are going for a theme, but I can not figure out what it is.

For 500 points, you can footslog it with :
CCS w. Astropath
Vets w/ 1xMelta
PCS w/ 1xMelta
Squad A w. 1xMelta
Squad B w/ 1xMelta
HWS w/ 3XAutocannon
HWS w/ 3xLascannoin

That's some nicey options at 4 Meltas 3 Autocannons 3 Lascannons 3 Orders per turn and one hit or miss roll at Telepathy. Redistribute meltas as you will.

Or you can take some serious armor for 225 for
LR MBT w/ Lascannon

Seeing as how CCS and 2 Vets is 180, that leaves another 95 points for infantry regalia.

Can you explain further your theme or strategem?

My issue is that you only have 10 scoring models. My 500 point marine list has anywhere from 15 - 20 scoring models.

If I obliterate your chimera I could pick off your veterans at my leisure and you would be in hell. You would be forced to play for a draw (unless it's big guns never tire).


You have a lot of toys and few boys. And this could be costly, the guard have the power to field lots of bodies, and it's cheaper than ever before, so exploit it!

Thanks although unfortunetly I really don't have a theme. It's more my favorite things all smashed together in a 500 point list.

I have 2 squads of 10 veterans, so 20 scoring models. Also the camo cloaks give them +3 in ruins, a marine save for 7 points a model, which they will try to stick to. But normally I like to throw more men in, but I'm trying to sneak in two pretty heavy hitters in a 500 point list, the tank and the LC squad. But I agree, it could be very costly.
