Do you count as having moved (and therefore have to snap fire heavy weapons in your shooting phase) if you were forced to disembark a transport because it was wrecked in the opposing players shooting phase?
My LRBT wrecked a DE transport and there were some guys inside with heavy splinter cannons that were about to lay waste to my infantry squad. I let the DE player fire them at full BS because I couldn't find anything about the movement in the opposing players shooting phase as having counted and movement in your shooting phase...my infantry squad survived though, and claimed an objective winning me the game !

When you go to shoot, did the model move in the preceding Movement phase?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

From wrecked vehicle, troops counts as having moved. In rb at summary page there is table - vehicles and passangers, dont know page, but for sure they count as moved.

Yes, but unless they wrecked during their own movement phase, they will still be able to fire normally because they didn't wreck in the preceding movement phase.

Yes they count as moving, as they are disembarking, however, the fire snap shots if moved with heavy weapons, only cares whether or not the model moved in the preceding movement phase.

So two situations that lead to different results.

1. Enemy shoots at transport wrecking it. The unit disembarks (which is Movement). In their Movement phase, they stand still. In the subsequent shooting phase, since they did not move in the preceding movement phase, they can fire Heavy weapons with no penalty.

2. Vehicle goes to move out of difficult terrain, and gets Immobilised (losing it's last hull point). The unit disembarks. Since they moved in the preceding Movement phase, Heavy Weapons must fire Snap shots.

Bear in mind, if the transport was shaken or stunned whilst being wrecked then their shooting is impacted as well.
