Subject: Which HI Sectorial?

Hi there, now ive been getting interested in a Haqqislam army recently but am having allot of difficulty deciding on which sectorial to go with. Both have a selection of extremely nice models as well as some extremely interesting troop profiles in each. At the moment i very slightly prefer the Hassassin models (Lasiq in particular) but the Qapu Qualki look a fair bit more flexible tactically. Any advice on what to go with?

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.

Why not both!? I usually play vanilla haqq so can't really comment on the sectorials much but you've already pointed out some of the advantages of both. If you are likely to be playing mostly ITS missions i'd probably say Qapu Khalqi as they have some pretty good link team options for objective grabbing but then HB has access to the Barid which is easily one of haqq's best hackers. Is there any reason it has to be a sectorial?

As someone who plays both, and vanilla, I can say that Bahram is a tricky sectorial to play... a glass hammer if you will. QK is more of a jack-of-all-trades sectorial as you noted. Both are a lot of fun. Best advice try playing both using whatever minis you have, then decide which fits you best and get the minis. But play a few games with vanilla Haqq too. You don't need to go straight to a sectorial either.

Always go with what you like the look of more. Out of the two id also lean toward the Hassassin. Love some of the models in that sectorial.

As HerbaciousT says I would probably go with the miniatures you like the look of more.
Yes they might be a little difficult to use, but then that's the same with any faction when you start out and the Hassassin Bahram have got some pretty effective tools. You've got a very solid and effective link team with the Muyibs, a very tough HI with the Asawira and of course the Fiday (who is tremendous fun to use, and can be very annoying for your opponent!)
