This thread is for those moments in warmachine we all experience from time to time. The moment you realize something good, something bad, something odd or when you just plain screw up. Those little moments that make you pause and love the game. Post yours.
That moment when you charge with a bronzeback and you're afraid to use all the initial attacks because you might not get to smash and grab into a throw.

That moment when all seems lost...
You've played bad. You're out if position. You forgot to feat. he's ripped apart your army.
You're left with irusk glaring at a slightly wounded kaelyssa and a damaged behemoth enraged with two myrmidons. You figure: you're gonna lose, blaze of glory time.
3 focus into b's cortex. 3 into sub cortex.
First initial. Puts big hurt into a myrmidon.
Second initial. More hurt.
First initial bombard. Because hey, why not..l and you spot b is in range and Los to kaelyssa. Def 16. Effective rat of 0. You boost. Because hey, why not. 16s.. He's looking royally smug. He has it in the bag. He knows he has it. 16s? Yeah. Not likely! But this is for pride!
You roll.
...
...
You roll 17. That smug look evaporates.
He looks worried.
You focus.
You might have a chance...
You dare hope...
You boost...
You roll for damage...
You roll l just enough. Kaelyssa goes splat. he goes from worried to utterly deflated.
Somehow, you pulled it off. Victory from the jaws of defeat. In warmachine, it's never over until it's over.

This one is really simple and not even all that relevant in the grand scheme of things, but every time I play CoC and use a combination of the corollary and focus induction to make all my vectors run on turn one without actually allocating anything...feels good man.

Seige settles down in a foxhole about 9 inches from Black Ivan and my Spriggan, feats, and puts the hurt on them with the rest of his army. They both get knocked down and lose their cortexes and some other systems.
What happens next is what I call "The Perfect Turn". Harkevich upkeeps Escort and Fortune (on Black Ivan). My Mechanics move up and manage to fix up the Jack's systems. My Koldun Lord then uses power booster on the Spriggan. Harkevich feats, uses Jump Start to get them on their feet, then Broadside just because. Black Ivan needs a 13 to hit Seige, but the attack is boosted for free. He misses. Then I rolled again thanks to Fortune and rolled 13. Black Ivan then charges Seige thanks to the feat, missing Seige with the free shot. Then I roll again thanks to Fortune, and wouldn't you know it, I get another 13. He makes the charge thanks to the extra range from Escort, he needs an 8 to hit with the charge attack but misses. Then I roll it again thanks to Fortune, and guess what I get? That's right, exactly 8. Seige is now down to about 3 boxes left. Now my Spriggan charges (for free thanks to the feat), I need a 6 to hit with the charge attack but I boost the attack roll anyway. Game over.
It wasn't just the perfect dice rolls, it was that all my army's abilities came together for one shining moment to win me the game. The Mechanics fixing the Jacks, including the Spriggan's cortex so the Koldun Lord could give him a focus point. Jump Start and the feat allowing the Jacks to charge, Escort allowing them to get close enough, Fortune allowing Black Ivan to hit, including the two extra attacks thanks to Broadside and the feat... it was a thing of beauty.

It's a good story, but sorry, I disagree.
To be fair, the most perfect of perfect turns is when epic butcher rolls for seven focus.
Happened to he. Upkeeps ravager. Realises he's within charge range of the enemy, and proceeds to daisy chain (ravager+ homicidal maniac is a thing of beauty) all the way through multiple enemy squads. Kills a vast swathe of stuff. Epic Haley is 10" away, and so is a knot of four long gunners. Boosted eliminator gets butcher into epic Haley's face with a single focus to spare. Buys an attack. Cuts her in two.
I think he killed everything in that game

I had that happen with a Butcher2 tier list running all doomreavers with escorts and debris. My opponent was so concerned about the wall berserk maniacs charging his front line that he didn't see butcher swoop in and massacre half of his and my own army then feeding fenris rage tokens for the assassination

I was my pDenny list against Butcher3.
Banes and Raiders cleared out all the pikemen. Or tied them up away from objectives.
Crippling grasp + feat makes B3 a slow slow panda (arced the spell onto one of his dogs). Chalk up a scenario win!
Which was very timely, because otherwise B3 was about to ravage my army and caster regardless of debuffs.

One of my favorites was second game in a tournament, and coincidentally second game with Cassius (I don't get to play much lately...) Facing off against pDenny dude spam: banes, all the Satyxis, chicken thing. First turn I move up my guys, get Wurmwood with a root in the zone, all ready to watch the eeeevil Cryxians stumble through a woods.
"Ok... your turn."
"... ... You didn't feat?"
"I... no... I forgot. ******"
~5 Satyxis get into Wurmwood, and pound ~42 damage into him. Cassius has 3 life left and his Shadowhorn and Ghetorix are down about half each, bottom of turn 1. Ground through 3 more turns though, only losing to scenario after being unable to keep the zone clear.

Watching pButcher drop Iron Flesh and use all his focus to kill pDenny in melee that he has her locked into with a spriggan making sure Witchbarbs don't come into play.
And fail to do so.
Then watching pDenny land a boosted Crippling Grasp on him, hitting with her shadowbind stick on boosted hit and damage, then buying the last attack with her last focus...
..and taking butcher's soul. Most epic end to a team game ever. My pStryker partner got one-shotted by butcher a turn earlier.

One of my favorite games was a 4 person team game. It was pretty early on in my warmachine career and it was 3 of us all trying to learn the game at once.
I was playing Siege and moved up into the middle of the field and feated, catching both enemy casters. Siege put a Rocket into the first one, one-shotting them. Then his defender puts a shot in the second again, one-shotting them.
That's when we learned the value of camping and keeping some fury for transfers.

My first one was when I managed to drop butcher 1 with full health, 5 focus, Iron flesh on him, in a wreck, with a wardog within range. It was literally a perfect turn. First eEiryss rolled double 6s to hit to strip the focus and iron flesh, then Snap Jaw charged in, lead with the tail boosting to hit got the crit knocked butcher down and a few attacks later left him with a only few boxes remaining. Then Daimino went and did arcane secrets convection for the win. And everyone said that spell was useless . The look of complete defeat on my opponents face was priceless.
Second one was late in the game against legion, after a vicious feat turn Lord Tyrant Hexeris was wounded with Rhyas standing next to him. After making all my attacks that I could put into Rhyas she was still standing. So at that point with I almost called it quits because my only two surviving models were a bronzeback and a gladiator that where two far forward to turn around and go after Rhyas. So then opponent said "well i guess you could throw one of your titans at her". So I figured why not right? What do I have to lose. So my bronzeback hit both warlocks dead on with a gladiator leaving Hexeris with a single box remaining (he had no fury to transfer with), and just barely killing Rhyas. That just goes to show, never give up and remember those power attacks.
Third was just recently where we where playing the new vengeance book release event where after a very poorly played game on my part the only two models remaining on my side where McBain and Sylys Wyshnalyrr. So I decided sense I was attacker to just keep all my focus and make a break for the flag, at this point eCaine, a stormwall, 2 survivors from Boomhowler's boys and a journeyman warcaster went to intercept. After burning through eCaines focus trying to shoot McBain and failing to hit him with a thrown troll from the stormwall. I had a clear line to eCaine except for the dam troll that somehow surivived being thrown from stormwall. Killed the troll with jackhammer, took the free strike from the journyman and after two swings put eCaine into the dirt. I shouldn't have won that game, I really shouldn't have.....

pDenny vs pIrusk 50pt game.
I had lost everything but Nightmare, who came on as reinforcement and was badly out of position. Irusk was dinged a bit, & he had lost the full IFP unit, but otherwise had his whole list, Including a Conquest about 6" from Denny.
I look over at my friend who was observing the game, and said "I think I have him."
Charged Denny 10" deep into the Nyss Hunter unit, thanks to Parry. was barely in reach range. Flubbed the charge attack roll. Then lobbed a boosted Scourge at Irusk, who was just a hair in range. Hit, rolled boosted damage, and got just enough to get the kill.
My opponent was livid. "I had that game!"
