Add that to the fact that they almost certainly have never seen it on the table before, so they have no idea what it does. "there's a big scary dinosaur in the middle of the table! Shoot it with everything." Is a very amusing but understandable response. Poor poor animantrix...

Just today in my first demo game I had a khador wardog counter charge a magehunter (my first game, idk if he let it happen cuz i was new or not but i know MH have a 4in atk range due to chain weapon) and he instab gibbed the magehunter making us all laugh at the dog as he returned behind vlad.

Thank god, as the MHA would be scary for any warcaster (let's just Say Arcane Assassin, Weapon Master and Decaptiation means a very dead Warcaster. Although they have very low ARM so blast damage and fire is most likely going to one-shot them).

He probably thought it was a worthwhile risk. I mean, assuming no buffs, you needed to roll a 9 to hit him. And if you had failed, and he'd hit you with a 9 (assuming he was charging your warcaster), Dice-5 with 4 dice damage, doubling damage over, would have killed you (assuming a roll of 14 for damage). Thats assuming you were using pSorscha for the demo

The wardog went mad on my legion beasts today. Everytime it charged, it got like a 15 on the damage roll. Doggies are scary!

last night playing a battlebox game as Cryx vs Khador.

i hit dennys feat and cast parasite on sorcha so total -5 ARM. get ready Defiler and deathripper to take her out, just need to hit with them and it could be all over in one move.

defiler boost to hit 3 dice, roll a 4 = miss

damn ok deathripper could still do it with a good roll

charge and boost to hit 3 dice, roll a 4 = miss

i am taking my dice back for a refund

That moment your risen makes 3 tough rolls as mulg attacks him.

I had used a friends 20pt army, i had drago, vlad and a wardog in a line going one way, and a winterguard with a officer and standard and Grigorovich headed the one way. Yea, I had rolled a 10 to hit the MHA and then just ate him with the dog, we all joked that when he returned he brought vlad the arm of the MHA lol

I got Molik Karen onto Carver once. Dang pig passed 5 tough rolls and survived!

When Seige rolled trip 6's on a Groundpounder and 1-shotted Deneghra, on her feat turn.

My opponent using Mortenebra tries to trample an undamaged Seether over my forgeguard. Oh, you forgot to cast Ghostly? 6 Free strikes later = scrapped Seether

You should try using her brother, Molik Karn. He doesn't disappoint as often as Karen does.

When arrogant players charge an entire unit in to eHaley with their caster standing about 8" behind the unit, not a single hit with set defence... Our Haley TK's behind the unit and eats the caster alive.

I once hunted Kaya down over the length of a board. The rest of both armies were dead, and eHaley was just coming for that crazy druid, camping 8 focus like there was no tomorrow. I finally caught and stabbed her to death. Never underestimate a pissed off woman with a spear and a mechanikal arm.

the first time you switch kromak over to beast mode.

the first time harbinger uses her feat, IN A SCENARIO on top of 2, bottom of one, what ever....
