Spawnstar thing is hard to kill and can't be tarpitted, and demonheart and balestar are why I chose Crimson Slaughter. T6, 2+4++, IWND with 15 t6 wounds around him.
Small number of troops but no slouch to kill either. Havocs go in the bastion with the psyker, oblits go on top, fiend sticks beside or behind to block LoS, I can buff whichever needs the re rolls that round.
AA is solid, light armor is covered, hoards get mopped, the only thing I can think of is dropping an ectocannon and a spawn to swap out 2 more lascannons on the Havocs. 2 oblits, a pfist and 2 melta bombs is thin but AV14 spam is rare nowadays.
Swap spawn for Nurgle bikes with 2x meltas? The models are pricey and I'd want 4 of em.
Plan to meet a new meta this summer, I want to make a good first EAT IT!! What would you change? Anyone game near south Austin Tx? What's it like?
