Strategy is to hide vets behind taurox's and fire at high priority targets then load up and move for objectives when ready
CCS gives orders and takes on MC or anything else valuable it can pick off
Sentinels help provide cover to Taurox and Hit high priorities aswell
Pretty much stay back as long as possible and pick off whatever big threats it can before moving to objectives/work on infantry

any comments/suggestions?

TBH, I am not a fan of sentinels. They are basically a walking wep platform with low dmg output/turn and they are BS3. Unless you use them to tank hull point dmg, 100 points for 2 BS3 lascannons may not be ideal. They are great because they bolster your heavy AT in the list but fall short because they can't be buffed in any way compared to the vets which can spam the "bring it down" order from the CCS.

Why not give the wyvern a try? at 65 points you would have 35 points spare when swapped with the sentinel. The 35 points could be used to upgrade taurox to chimera so that the beefier 12 AV front can be used + smoke launchers. Either that or you could just upgrade your guard with carapace/camo.

unlike most people i really like the taurox and the model and would like to give it a try...
The sentinels are there to help give cover to taurox and hopefully take some attention away from them as well since their AV12. It would be nice if i could squeeze a psyker in there to twin link the sentinels but points just don't allow that without sacrificing HWT's which is not wise....

im going to give it a try and if anything swap the sentinels out depending on how they perform.
The wyvren doesn't sound to bad its just the Str 4 weapon that throws me off/discourages :/

Yeah, the S4 is discouraging but with shred and twin linked, you pretty much guarantee the 2 templates at the spot you want, wounding most of the models in said template.

What you think about swapping lascannons with plasma cannons on the Sentinels?

May not be too bad on the sentinel. Plasma cannons probably would make them more annoying as harassers forcing the enemy to kill them rather than your taurox.

It depends on how much you expect from them to perform TBH. If their role is to soak damage and look menacing then yeah, they would be that if given plasma cannons.

I prefer the missile launcher on it. It can be anti-infantry where its poor BS can be slightly negated. Or anti-armour if need be.
