Hi Dakka,

Just got back to Australia and am missing the UK prices for warhammer. Has anyone tried OzHammer?

Any experiences or suggestions for other shops would be welcome.

Sorry if there is a thread on this already - I tried the search but kept getting errors (rebuilding index?)

Cheers

Mark

He's posted a fair few times here on Dakka, though I don't recall feedback from Dakka users. (I could be wrong there of course).

And yeah, the search function has been hosed for a couple of weeks now.

Combat Company are good for locals. I get a lot of GW from overseas - Discount Games Store and various places on eBay are my main offshore sources.

As a one off, I checked how bad Australia Tax came into play on this - CC vs OzHammer - turns out SM Battleforce is 90 cents cheaper at CC, which I wasn't expecting.

Cash rates are the main differentiator, most of my stuff came from ebay, but I needed Vallejo paints and found CC

Discount Games Store does get cool stuff like megaforces, and their shipping charge is pretty good

E: ebay just keeps winning from the states though -> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281163645349

At this point, it's worth comparing each item that you want against the local/imported price. Some things are too close to bother importing. Wraithknight, Wraithguard, Imperial Knight come to mind immediately. (because I still need to get them).

I get Vallejo from the UK, though new RM changes mean I can only get them 4 at a time, so I make sure to always tack on 4 paints/inks/washes whenever I order any other stuff. Luckily I already have most of what I need as far as paints go.

I actually only started going to CC for Vallejo paints, where are you getting them from in the UK?

Sorry for the necro post. A customer pointed me to this post and we wanted to let people know we are still operating. Going strong. we send out between 5-15 parcels a month ranging from £15 for one off blister packs to £1000 with clubs placing group orders.

OzHammer was created to help fellow gamers in Australia and New Zealand. We are currently working on a new site but we can still be found on ozhammer.webs.com/

We are always happy to do quotes etc so get in touch.
