Hey guys,

My Annihilation Barge doesn't fit on the base tightly, here's a picture for the base type, not sure what it's called.

I don't want to glue in the plastic rod to the model, as I want to transport it in my foam case easily. Any ideas to make the stand fit in the model while being deattachable? Also: any way to make a Night Scythe's base the same way? Your method may or may not work for both, and I don't want to create a new thread later clogging the forums. Sorry if this is a really dumb question, new to 40k and this is the first model not on the standard black bases

Okay this is gonna sound whack, but read closely.

The rod actually fits AMAZINGLY into the vehicle, perfectly snug. Put it in, and wiggle it around lightly, it will find a little hole inside and slip right in and be absolutely solid.

I also fell for the instability at first, the solution certainly isn't obvious.

I just drill the hole that the stand goes into on the model a bit bigger so that a thicker part of the stand goes in. This makes it a lot more stable, they won't break off like the little tip does and you can take it on and off as you need, there is no need to glue it just push it harder.

You could always shove a bit of blu tac to fill in the gap.

Sweet, thanks UFO! I made it fit, just took some wiggling! If it comes apart again, I'll try the drilling method or blu tac. Thanks again!
