The basic plane is 1 psyker and 1 preast per blob squad and the inquisiter in one of them aswell, the lemon russes advance useing a blob as cover if needed and the 2 blobs push forwards wile the conscripts stay behind to sit on a objective and last min the vendetta drops the infantry comand squads where ever they are needed to cap or deny.

The 2 blobs are combat beasts with minimum of 12 S4 AP2 attacks which with divination can reroll to hit and with the preast could reroll to wound.

Pask split fires to take out tanks with his hullmounted lazcannon and vanquisher battle cannon. and then the other leamon fires its 5 plasma templates at enemy MEC's rerolling the overheat 1's due to perferd enemy from pask.

What do you think? is it very competitive? what could be done better?

Special weapon team.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

You have a lot of bodies but no real firepower. All your infantry autocannons should be lascannons.

Conscripts should be advancing to take pressure off your more useful troops. perhaps just leave a couple of infantry squads un-blobed behind when required.

If the platoon squads have lascannons drop the vendettas, get chimeras and weapons for the platoon commands and get a couple of exterminators with lascannons and multimeltas.

With squads that size you need to deal with your main threats - thunderfires, wyverns, broadsides, wave serpents...... these things will remove more guardsmen than you can advance each turn.

The list you have will overwhelm a lot of other lists, but wont threaten many.

The reason i thought of advancing the blobs is to get them within melee range they can eat pretty much anything they get in contact with,

Lossing the vendettas i really don't think is the best play, if i do so i loss all AA, and also no real way to get to enemy objectives, Chimeras do not last and once it dies then the 10 guys inside will not servive the renaiming treck to the objective im trying to get them to.

I agree it does have less fire power then other lists, but my concept was a more objective based play style. 4 out of the 6 tipical missiles are multiple objective based in which case once i can get a blob ontop of a objective they are not moving anywhere, and there are few enough units that really theretin them that if i see one i will focuse all firepower from the leamons and the vendetas on it. also nomater what it is, its only enough to take out 1 blob.

So in objective based missions there are few way to get the blobs off of a objective.

in the HQ mission same thing, its going to be hard for me to take the enemy HQ but almost imposible for them to take mine.

and in anailation each one of the kill points i am offering up is nearly imposible to get, thats why i put the comand squads into vendetas so i dident have some extra 5man squad laying around to give a free first blood and killpoint.

I can see the value is posibly adding another 2 naked infantry squads to each platton and not blob them to hold objectives unless its a killpoints mission that is a good idea.

You might want one PCS dismounted to issue move, move move to get your blobs up field faster.

Consider dropping the autocannons (especially if you are moving upfield) and getting krak grenades for two squads; now they are a threat in assault to MC/tanks.

You could also save some points by running a naked sgt in each blob to refuse challenges with.

You may have a good point with the autocannons, the PCS's im on the fence about but you may also have a good point there.

Re the naked sgt for refusing challenges i though if i refuse a challenge the enemy picks what character does not fight? or am i thinking of fantesy?
