I'm planning on starting up a Lizardman army once I get my 40k army finished. I've been doing research and planning on what to start buying. Below is my first effort at a WHFB list in general. Constructive C&C welcome!

Oldbloods are very good and make good generals but you need them mounted. Take a cold one and and light armour and you have a +1 armour save.

Hero slots.... Priests and Scar vets. Scar vets are just oldbloods with one less wound really. These are really good and also make good generals in low point games. Drop the skink hero. For the same points you can take a lv2 priest with a dispel scroll.

Put your saurus into one block and get some salamanders.
I would use a oldblood and 2 priests. Give one a dispel scroll and give the oldblood a Dawnstone and great weapon. S7 +1 armour save that is re rollable.

It's definitely a nice starting point and having Oxiotl in the list is a good bit of fun.

If you're just taking a unit of 10 skinks I'd change those to Skirmishers with Javelins. Let's you march and shoot, makes them more manouverable and makes them more resitant to missile fire. You can get the extra points by dropping the Earthing Rod from the Priest. I assume you'd be putting him in with the skinks and putting him with skirmishers instead of rank and file already minimises the potential damage from miscasts.
