Hi guys, sorry if this isn't the right place for talking about bases.

So, soon i'm going to be getting a box of killa kans, and I want to do something special and interesting for the bases. What do you guys suggest? For one of them I had the idea of having the kan standing on a fence, as though it had crushed it underfoot, and for the second I am going to put space marine tank debris on the ground around it, and bent pieces of tank armour in it's claw, but I still can't think of anything for the last one. So, any ideas?

Standing on a dead marine or other enemy?

What's the base theme for your whole army - industrial, woodland, swamp, or what? Would be good to fit in with that.

Grassland type theme. I like the idea of him standing on a marine, but I don't have any dead marines, just normal ones, so he would have to be holding his gun normally whilst being crushed, which would probably look a bit weird.

If I were making killer kans I'd work toilet humor in there some how.

Like a half smashed toilet under foot or something.

Get another box of killa kans and base them walking over killa kans.

Well, you can theme an entire unit of Kans. Like they stomped through a hab or something. One could have a bed crushed under its weight, the other has maybe an overturned chair or couch. Then the toilet. Then its serious and joking.

Yeah, i suppose i could have done something that, but i've already made my other two bases and i won't be getting any more kans for a while.

EDIT: Already made the fence and tank debris for the bases rather, I haven't got the bases yet.

I just had an idea: if I give my last one a buzz saw arm, i could put a stick sawn in half on the ground, accompanied by a stump and some sawdust, as though it's just cut up a tree that was in it's way. I could also stick pieces of sawdust around the teeth of the saw. What do you guys think?

Will it still have a claw arm? You can put the tree in the claw arm so that it grabbed it, cut it, and is moving it out of the way.

@xXWeaponPrimeXx I like that idea, it makes the kan feel like it's actually interacting with the environment, rather than just being there. If i used this hand then it could saw up logs and hold them: http://i.imgur.com/Zc2TUo8.png

Indeed it could. But it would cut where its holding and the tree would topple off the top of the hand. Something to keep in mind while modeling it.

Yeah, i'm thinking of having it so it's halfway through cutting it. When they arrive and i finish the whole thing i'll post an image of them. Thanks for the help guys!
