OK

Lol the Oblit was scared of the Riptide.

These batreps show me more and more how maxing Heldrakes is necessary, the only problem is that people hate Heldrakes so much I'm sure if I showed up with 3 I would get 10x more hate than Wave serpent spam or Centurionstar with inquisitor.

For some reason so many 40K players are up in arms against Heldrakes WAY more than anything else.

Heldrakes are the old bad boys. They are just soooo pre-Deathstar40K.

What these batreps more than anything show me is how boring the competitive 40K has become.

90% of these games is a couple of incredibly tough models doing 90% of the work, while the rest of the armies job is to die as little as possible.

@DutchSarge

Competitive 40K is what you make of it. Some of us choose to play cool, unique lists and still can still win games at the highest levels. My tournament army is 60 Scouts! lol

I agree that the tournament scene is stagnant right now in general terms, but hopefully 7th ed shakes that up. In the meantime, some players will play fun lists regardless of the meta.

Oh I agree, it's what you make of it. Still it's disheartening to see the composition of a large portion of the competitive lists you encounter in tournaments. My main gripe is that the percentage of these lists is slowly growing.

Also closely watching the rumor threads, hoping there will be some real change coming the end of May

Yeah, I agree. I too am hoping for some real changes and a move away from the crazy combos units.

Wha what? 60 scouts?! Do you people live on mountaintops making Mongolian throat music and meditating to come up with this stuff? "Poof" 40k enlightenment.

Thanks? Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, lol

But yeah, we have a product we made and are selling, adverts may not be the most creative thing in the world, but they do the job. We like to think ours is funny and light hearted, too, but YMMV. At any rate, we hope you liked the bat rep.
