So a lot of projects have been building up. I ran out of all my primer colors besides grey and the few projects that require grey primer aren't going to be needed to be done until after the ones that require the other primer. Because of this, I have quite a few partially assembled models in various boxes (partially assembled so the model will be fully primed and will show minimal mold lines and overlap lines when primed and full put together). I've been grouping the models by size and then by allies (weird categorization on the latter half, but it'll help me when I start painting to feel like I am making progress). One day I looked down into my "large model" box after reading one-too many spam-hate-threads and realized, I am a terrible person.
So I decided to take a picture of it! Can you spot and name all the models?
Anyone else have any similar stories?

Resin Printer (minaitures) is a 4K printer with one of the largest build volumes available for a resin printer (192mm x 120mm x 245mm) with an amazing .01mm resolution! This professional printer is one of the best resin printers on the market!
FDM Printer (terrain) also has one of the largest build volumes available for an FDM printer (400mm x 400mm x 450mm) and has an amazing ,05mm build accuracy.

3 stormtalons, an imperial knight, a storm raven, you've got a few bits to an ionhead in there, riptide bits seem to make an appearance?
Also, no. I have a huge pile of boxes of bretonians, empire, GK and SM that I never got round to painting. For the most part, my army gets painted quickly.

I have been buying up loads of clanrats-with-handweapons from the island of blood set off of ebay. I have enough little plastic baggies of ratmen scattered around my home to put a dope dealer to shame.

HA! I know just what you mean about those little plastic baggies. Buying up bits on ebay is just too addicting, especially when you dont see your money disappearing lol. I'm worried somebody will get the wrong idea if one floats and sticks on me: "Uh, Ryan, you uh, got a little drug bag on you." LOL

Ive done the ebay shopping too. So many Tyranids were bought well before my (faily large) Space Marine army was even almost build. Both armies are almost build now however, Flyrant, Tyrannofex, Land Raider, 25 Gants left to build. Nids not painted, Marines based purple though. For perspective this has been going for years now, I am horribly horribly slow at this hobby.

I wish it was just two boxes. I got about 7 of those sized boxes and then a few shallow plastic tubs full of model parts. I'm trying to clean it up, but Im at the point I need to start getting money for primer before I can do anything else.

I have a Baneblade, Emperor's Wrath Tank Company, 2 ork Megaforces (not battleforce, Megaforce), the tyranid megaforce from last edition along with a battleforce, the 40k Cityscape (the one with 4 buildings I think), a set of IoB clan rats, 2 skaven battleforces, and who knows what else lurking in my closet of shame. I should take a picture some time. I'm begining to thing I have more models in unopened boxes than I actually have put together, let alone PAINTED.

Barring the odd leftovers from kitbashes, I don't have anything unbuilt, but it does seem to be a fact that if I don't get something painting within a week or two of buying and building, it will be unpainted a year later. Case in point, the last 3 SM kits I've bought have been painted within a week, the Space Wolves I bought 2 years ago last weekend are still in-progress.

I got an unpainted Valkirye, 7-8 infantry Squads on the sprues, bunch of heavy weapons on the sprues, a box of Orks on the sprues, that old barricades kits (6 barricades for city of death) that old Imperial entrenchement model (comes with 3 tank traps and 3-4 barrels), 10 scions (5 primed, 5 in box).
I also got 10 Space marines on the sprue, land speeder storm build but still gray. The 5 scouts are still on the sprue; I might make them as a 5 man bolter squad.
I also got alot of bits to make many special characters or commander types, just...lack time/patience
In Fantasy, I got
1500 Empire army primed (I did play my first game alst Saturday so I'm more enclined to paint them- possibly using dipping)
10 Greatsword on the sprue

I have several such boxes. One of them has a couple of unopened tac marine squads and something else in it. I spent a couple minutes looking for that box the other day because I couldn't remember what the other item was, but I didn't see it. I'll find it eventually....

I ran out of primer. Go figure, I finally get off my arse, start painting and now I am out and can't paint no more.
Now I realized how much I have left to do. Was going to take a pick, but didn't do it. All I know my wife is complaining saying "You have a GW store on your shelf now". Bought way too much.
