Hello all.

Ever since late 2012 I've been working on an army which started out as Howling Griffons and is slowly turning into a detachment of multiple Ultramarines successor chapters. Apart from Howling Griffons I am working on a few units painted in Marines Errant livery right now. Down the road I am considering other chapters, just because they have some cool color schemes.

Anyway, here are the finished units of Howling Griffons.

Oh wow! Theres tons of good things i could say about these guys, lets see, i like the inclusion of trophy skulls, the quartered paint scheme is also well done along with the weathering to boot, your poses and overall modeling is pretty diverse and interesting, but lastly my only beef is that the eyes on the marines get lost in the colors or maybe don't pop as much as you intended. Sometimes problems aren't even problems when you have a picture to go by, but thats just my two cents. Nice job!

Where did you get the wings on the jump packs? Those are gnarly.

A good mark is that I recognized that as Leonidas before I read the squad' name, and I've never even see 300.

I believe those are Dark Angels bits. I got them from a fellow hobbyist in my area.

I really like them! They have a very retro feel to them.

I have never been a fan of quartered colour blocks like this but you have pulled it off very well. They look nice, congrats.

Yes, they are the Dark Angels pieces that go on the front of the bikes.

I like spear on the scout sergeant. I mean, in livery like that he's not going to be lurking in the bushes so he might as well go in stabbing.
