Snowdrop video is so well done, and tearfully cute.

Is t=here a standard animation package going about, as a lot of fan productions look so like the official series.

Because Snowdrop had a sort of relatable storyline that some can relate to well, where as Double Rainboom was lacking a kind of reality to it e.g. jumping through dimensions. Also, Rainboom was just another thing of Dashie being obnoxious and full of herself. Then you have Snowdrop which is a set of OCs and it had to make me go awwww every minute

Goodness! I adored Snowdrop. It was sorrowful as well as beautiful... although I felt the double rain boom was men, I genuinely enjoyed the Snowdrop video.

Well I shed a tear when Luna asked Snowdrop to make more , I have never cried at any youtube thing at all until I watched Snowdrop.

RD always goes around making a fool of herself. It honestly got really annoying to see RD on screen IMO. I also feel like Double Rainboom had too much fluff that could be cut.

I think they should add a few more of the sub characters into more main characters, give the old characters a little screen break. I think they should put more characters in like: Vinyl Scratch, Luna(definitely needs more screen time), Cheerilee and the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

You guys have any opinion on background characters that should get more screen time??

To be honest I feel like the CMC already get enough screen time. Luna and Celestia both need more screen time. It'd be nice if Octavia showed up too or maybe an episode with more Derpy?

After Derpygate she's never gonna be seen with a line or real "Screen time" again. We put the nails in that coffin.

I wanna see more of the guy that runs the Sofa & Quill shop.

Supposedly there's a Rarity/Octavia duet. Was talked about in the lead up to season three, but maybe with the short season it was part of season four? There were a few other things they talked about that didn't happen as well.

Yeah, CMC did have alot of screen time now I think of it. Agreed with the Luna and Celestia bit, personally, I would like to see an episode where they tell us why Luna was banished to the moon for a thousand years. As for Octavia, she deserves alot more spotlight. I am a huge fan of the fan made music, and I saw one piece which was Octavia vs Vinyl which was awesome, so maybe a music themed episode of all the music ponies or something. Derpy is a bit of a no go on production side of the show, although the fan made 'Doctor Whooves and Assistant' was great.

On a side note, I came up with the theory that Luna went evil because Snowdrop passed away, thats my version and I am keeping to it haha ... Trebec

i guess i just feel that he should have been like Chad from bleach, strong with understated intelligence getting his business done, im just not fond of the big dumb lummox characters (unless hilarious like luffy and the crew from one piece)

Alicorns are just taller like that. Did you notice after Twilight's change she grew a bit taller?

Notice that Cadence is still scaled to Shining Armor though.

To be honest, the VA for Big Mac had loads to say in the auditions, but when he got the part, they asked him can you just say 'Yup' and 'Nope'.

Hrmmm.. did Twilight really grow taller? I thought the wings just made her look like she was taller. On the subject of California height. We know Cadance used to look like a normal mare, Luna for a short while was about the height of an ordinary, and, most perplexing of all, we have a unicorn Fleur that has the same large female figure like the big princesses. So the question is.... why?

I have always wondered what would happen if the mane 6 came across someone like a war vet with radically different ideals who was not willing to change (not villain), sort of an acceptance of differences thing that does not stem from misunderstanding. For example i thought they missed that chance in the discord episode where he "changed", perhaps his evil could have just been him really thinking that chaos was better and not seeing why others didnt realize it/thinking they were dumb for not liking it the way he did. something like that

Hrmmm... Might I be selfish and ask what limitations you have? What I mean is.... we can bring forth ideas but I fear most will be a decent amount of animation and I'd rather not lob a lot of ideas at you that involve things that would take far too long to develop.

I have to check with my teacher for time limits and how extreme it can go, but go ahead with all ideas you guys may have.

Why can't Derpy have any more screen time? I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to the fandom. I tend to just watch it as it airs and ignore the fandom. lol

IIRC, it was something to do with one of the producers and that the eyes of derpy hooves or 'Ditzy Doo' were an animation glitch. That is just scrathing the surface btw

It was the massive outcry and cluster on the fans when they "fixed" Derpy's eyes from her scene in the last round up after some people complained it was offensive to... what's the polite term for mental defect afflicted individuals? Ditto the name "Derpy" it set off a massive gakstorm in the community and I'm sure the backlash put a bit of a sour taste in Hasbro's mouth.

Because apparently "HoverMoms" thought "Derp" was an offensive remark- ignore the fact that it's more often than not used in reference to oneself.

It was essentially a case of misunderstanding and overreaction on the part of both overprotective/overPC viewers and overly defensive Bronies.
