I decided to try to experiment with this guy. The results are slightly... off. I call him "Seasick Steve", after the singer.

The shade of gold is interesting. Was it shaded with a dark green wash? I'm not a fan of the lack of a backpack, though. It makes the model seem unfinished.

Something like that, I used a green glaze over the gold base, then drybrushed with gold again. I decided that it was too greenish and the shading wasn't dark enough so I used Armypainter's Quickshade on top, which helped. The model was assembled by a friend, he didn't want the jump pack at the time, we decided we might add it or a regular backpack later, but I don't think that's going to happen now. I should have at least chopped the bump off the back, but I was busy and forgot until I was already painting.
