So fluff wise and model wise my army will be 100% Tzeentch, despite using 2 units that are not strictly of that god. They are simply too good to not use, and anyone who would pitch a fit over it isn't someone I'd want to play against anyway(I only play a few games a year, they won't be wasted on WAAC or WYSIWYG nazis).
The name of the game is mostly points denial or target denial. With 2 Chimeras flying about cannons will have to pick between them and the DP who will generally tear gak up in CC. Very low model count army, and plenty of opportunities for conversions(my Skullcrushers are amazing looking for being simple kitbashes).
Daemon Prince, MoN, lv4, Chaos Armor, Sword of Striking, Charmed Shield, Flaming Breath, Scaled Skin, Soul Feeder, Lore of Nurgle, Daemonic Flight 525
(1+ armor 5++ ward, -1 to hit him in CC, +1 to hit enemies, Soul Feeder regen, 2++ against first hit)
Exalted Hero, MoT, BSB, Enchanted Shield, Talis of Pres, Third Eye of Tzeentch, Disc of Tzeentch 235
(1+ 3++, reroll 1's for ward)
Sorcerer, Lore of Shadow, Dispel Scroll 135
17 Warriors, MoT, Shields, Full Command 319
17 Warriors, MoT, Shields, Full Command 319
5 Warhounds 30
Chimera, Regenerating Flesh 245
Chimera, Regenerating Flesh 245
Hellcannon 210
3 Skullcrushers, Ensorc. Weapons 234
Army total 2497

Looks pretty run of the mill, though I personally find it strange to call it "100% Tzeentch except for some stuff" when all the things that are Tzeentch don't even take up half your points.

The theme is Tzeentch. If I could mark Chimeras and Skullcrushers, I would.
Thematically it will all appear Tzeentch, even though only a few things can actually be marked as such. I suppose that doesn't much translate in an army list really.

No Blasted Standard? Skull of Katam on a DoT Prince is a must since you get to reroll 1's when channeling.

It will also drive you mad, seeing as he is the army general giving him the skull would be a bad idea. Automatically Appended Next Post: Actually hold on a second.
Under the Skull of Katam it says that models with the mark of tzeentch may not re-roll 1s when channelling with this item.
Could a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch do it, he hasn't got the mark of tzeentch and he can still re roll ones.

IMO, you're building a power list and trying to theme to justify it.
Models with the Mark of Tzeench Hate models with the mark of nurgle.
Models with the Mark of Nurgle hate models with the mark of tzeench.
If you're running a "Tzeench theme" and taking a nurgle general, don't expect any fluff points from me.
I know the nurgle prince is awesome, but I'd consider swapping for a tzeench general if you want a tzeench list.
Lore of Metal goes pretty well with sword and board tzeench warriors. Giving a unit +1 to hit and armor piercing is awesome on those warriors, and buffing the 3+ armor to 1+ on the warriors is amazing.

Depends on the modelling, imo. As a 40k player, I've often thought about running certain cults (like noise marines) as fire support for my death guard. Would they be Slaaneshi and pink? Nope. They'll adhere to my theme (I'd model them as chem launchers with all kinds of pipes and tubes). Are they "actually" Nurgle according to the rules (and so Nurgle Characters can't join them, etc)? Nah, but I'm not gonna let army restrictions get in the way of how I want to play, or at least, how I want the army look.
I can see wanting to play Tzeentch because you like the theme more than Nurgle. If they are modeled appropriately, I won't mind since I'm sure you'll have appropriate fluff to represent them.

But you won't have appropriate fluff. They hate each other, and it's in the rules and the fluff.

This is the very reason why I don't want to do mono-god with my WOC or my Daemons. I feel like I'd be limiting myself way too much if I legitimately ran only one god, and on the flip side I'd probably get a lot of skeptical looks from my opponents if I ran a Nurgle Prince that's clearly painted up with Tzeentch stuff.

Yeah, it would be like running only orcs, or only goblins. Anytime you take a whole army book and toss out 75% of it for a fluff build, it's going to be weaker.
On the other hand, if somebody runs a legitimate mono list (like common goblins, slaanesh, only nightgoblins etc) I'll congrat them on not copping out for an easy power choice (like having a single great shaman and orc warboss leading all night goblins).
Their was a rumor floating around about marked lists coming out in a white dwarf; if you only have a single mark, you can choose units from both warriors of chaos and daemons of chaos, of that mark.
Which, would be awesome. I'd love flamers, flamer chariots and screaming in with a tzeench warrior list.

I'm not trying to mask anything. The list is built particularly nasty(to some degree at least) and I accept that.
Again, the theme really is mono Tzeentch, but it's hardly the players fault that some units were written so much better than others, to the point of gimping yourself if you don't take them.
And again, I play all of 2-4 games a year, against people I know who care more about the fun of gaming than about winning or losing. I'd rather have a fun, interesting game than one where I just steamroll people all day.
I do have an alternate list without the DP(skullcrushers are staying though) which I wrote as more of a campaign progression list ramping up from 500 points and showing the progression of my general to becoming a Tzeentch lord.
I'm all for the idea mentioned about getting to run Daemons if the entire army stays mono though, as that would be some fun stuff to paint up.

I agree with Matt. As a player who oscillates between competitive and thematic armies, I would never post "*insert specific theme*" into an army title or description without trying to adhere to that stated theme.
Combine that with the options you have for mono-tizz (while a little stale) and you shouldn't complain about the lack of power builds in theme.
You could:
Switch MoTz on the DP, easy and really takes little away from the army.
Swap Skull Crushers for Knights.
Throw in some "forsaken" (use pink horrors models) and/or some chaos spawns/ spawn chariots (gorebeast with MoTz)
Just to name a few....
Listing "2500 Competitive WoC Army" would, of course, take all the misplaced aggression away from you and your post.
Rant over *steps off soap box*
