I played my second match against my 2 children last night. Nothing fancy just a 4 crystal per side learning the rules kind of match. Just when my son and I were about done setting up, my daughter suddenly wanted in as well. So she had 2 earth trolls against us. What we've learned is this
The Thief is awesome
Adepts suck if you don't take spells (my son loaded his up with no spells...... weird)
And trolls are frigging mighty. Wow.

I'm seriously considering throwing in some money to your current kick starter as well as buying a few more minis. Keep it up you guys, this game is easy to pick up and fun to play as well.

Back it AND get more stuff from it.

Thanks KC, I appreciate the review.

If you have time, would you mind posting a review on WargameVault and/or BoardGameGeek?

Sure thing, I'll do that first thing in the morning. Right now I'm about to crash

Welp I tried on both and failed. Wargame Vault says I need to have bought the book to comment (I was playing off a buddies book) and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to rate on the board game site. Am I missing the obvious on that? All I saw was a link to show its rating?

But I did end up backing your current kick starter. Though to be honest..... I'm seriously thinking of kicking it up to the next higher level. The $50 level is just too good of a deal

Hidden away at the very bottom of the BGG page is a 'Record Information' link, thats what you gotta click.

And thanks for backing. The $50 level does offer a nice discount from our usual rates, and if you can swing the $175/$325 price you get the best deal.

Love the new avatar.

While googling for a skirmish game that plays like FF Tactics or Shining Force (I do this every few years or so) I ran into Endless. I'm glad I did. I really liked what I saw. So I bought the book and backed the current kickstarter. When I'm done playing a few games and going through the rules I will post reviews as requested above.

Good work and thank you for this game.

I want to comment that I was a bit put off initially that a robust leveling and character advancement system was not featured. On second thought, after looking at the rule book I found the game to be pleasantly simple and the rules in the book for campaigns and leveling come close to making me happy.

I look forward to how this will be expanded in the kickstarter project.

I really crave a solid system of character development from this game in the future and wanted to place that feedback here.

We have a simple leveling and advancement program in the rulebook under the campaign rules, and I believe more will be in the Miasma War, but it's very difficult to pull off the type of class/level system without requiring large amounts of paperwork.

But glad you've found us, and are enjoying the game
