As those who have read my posts may have guessed, I don't like the tactics the BLM uses or the way they grab land out from under people, but this from people trying to open up land in southern Utah, is inexcusable:

So, A mandate from like nearly 8 years ago is just now being protested?

So because some violent, armed, ignorant people are mad they can't go off-roading with trucks and ATV on land they don't own, they have decided to 'protest' by violently trespassing and threatening violence on anyone who tries to stop them... How do you take land 'out from under people' when it isn't their land in the first place?

But yet, branches which manage and police these lands for the public trust shouldn't have the ability to enforce laws or defend themselves... Nice.

Again... if a minority in a city brandished a weapon at any government official with a sign saying 'you need to die' they would be arrested and in jail or probably shot dead.

Governments in Western states are trying to get more control over vast tracts of federally owned land in large part because they say the land could be strategically developed to help boost local economies.

IE: sold to private companies for kickbacks which will be developed for large personal profits... not a dime to be seen by the 'ranchers' and 'militias' who fight for that land or feel it is theirs to use as they please.

All of these BLM protestors are ignorant pawns of billionaire land developers and corrupt local officials enjoying kickbacks. This was never about protecting ranchers and never will be. They are actually hastening their own demise and they are insane if they think anyone in the local government actually care about the plight of ranchers or citizens to ride their ATVs around.
The Blanding protest being spearheaded by a local public official, not a resident, also appears to be a sign of the growing frustrations in a rural county composed of nearly 90 percent public lands managed by the BLM.

My God, a corrupt public official whipping the ignorant masses into a frenzy so he can apply pressure over a non-related issue in order to basically try to force a land-grab from the feds which he can then sell as an official to private developers... This has nothing to do with protecting a trail, just who gets to control the land.

The more land kept out of the hand out of all these local government bodies... the better. I hope these protesters all go to jail and are charged with the felonies they commit.

I have to confess, the people confronting the government on this one are in the wrong, both in concept and execution.
At least it seems this way with the information I've seen.

However, federal officials say the region, known for its archaeological ruins, has been jeopardized from overuse.

BLM are idiots for not doing it right off the bat. Leaning towards its more likely Native Americans ruins.

If the impact range at Ft. Bragg NC can handle a Civil War graveyard for Union and Confederate troops in it. (Four Kick Square, Crossroads). Well they should have had Park Rangers out there just handing out tickets for violations.

So far the graveyard has claim like 5 Civil War collectors who were about to become Grave Robbers. This is when Fort Bragg was an open post

You can claim what you want I am not going to stop you.

Though before you do do something stupid ask yourself what it cost to try

1 Unauthorized entry on a Air Force base
2 Crossing the "Red Line" to get near a F22
3 Breaking into the cockpit of a F22
4 Hot wiring the F22 to engine start
5 Moving the F22

If your life wasn't snuffed out at crossing the "Red Line" then looking at maybe 20 years in a Fed Pen.

I'm not talking about this in relation to the BLM grabbing land out from under people. I'm talking about land people owned, had deeds to, and paid taxes on being siezed. This thing going on by Blanding is nothing but ignorant, disrespectful, and dangerous on the part of the protestors.
I'd be interested in seeing some citations for those other claims you are making in your post, though.

Unlikely. Hotsauce more likely take pictures of himself by the aircraft in various poses and not think of taking pictures "inside" the aircraft

He does love to go on, but I think he's a good lad at heart, just a tad incenderary in his youth!

I did think the corrupt official he was talking about trying for sweet heart deals at first was Harry Reid!

Your taxes also paid for the 9mm, 5.56mm and/or 7.62mm rounds that would either kill or maim you.
Your taxes also pays the Airmen the 1st and the 15th
Your taxes also pays for the range time to ensure he/she can hit center mass

BLM is also at fault for not enforcing laws governing ruins on Federal Land. Its great that they are doing it NOW when they should have been doing it WAY BACK when it was discovered

So you want them to enforce all laws in all federal lands, but were also for cutting their law enforcement funding.

See the bold there's a Federal Law concerning this on Federal land
BLM already knew about the ruins
BLM knew ATV's were being used in the area for recreation.

Yet

No designated"keep Out" signs
No enforcement till now.

BLM looks bad in the media again.
BLM is behind on the power curve of of doing their job in a field that they are responsible for

So let me get this straight. BLM plays hardball and they're the bad guy. BLM plays it safe to avoid confrontation, and they're the bad guy. So you don't really give a damn about anything BLM does you just want to rage against government for the hell of it.

Par for the course

You'd think people would be happy to see a government body show restraint instead of lunging itself into another Waco incident (which is exactly what the entire Bundy debacle was turning into). But I guess double standards are too much fun.
