Simple question.

If I was to give the crown to a tervigon, and then take the primaris power, is that a 24" synapse range?

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

Pretty sure the answer is yes, they stack. Can't see anything at all to indicate that they don't.

That way,then left

Both add 6" of Synapse range. No reason they wouldn't stack. They'd stack with the warlord trait (Synaptic lynchpin?) too

Wow, potentially a 30" synapse range? That's pretty awesome!

It also requires a 1/6 Warlord trait roll, a psychic power and a really overpriced piece of wargear.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

Also worth pointing out, that Tervigons cannot be the Warlord.

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS.

Tervigons are an HQ choice with a Ld value of 10, there are no rules that say the Tervigon can't be a warlord and the only restriction on Warlord selection is that the Warlord must be an HQ choice with the highest leadership. If there's a tie you get to choose.

technically, you could make a Tervigon the Warlord with a Swarmlord secondary HQ since they both that the same leadership value, and there's no rules that say that Swarmlord must be your Warlord.

Tervigons can't be your warlord if they're in troops, of course.

Edit: My place was all over the head. Damnit.

That's not correct.
It must be the HQ choice character with the highest leadership. As a Tervigon is not a character it cannot be your Warlord.

Its a character with the highest leadership and is a HQ, a tervigon is not a character.

Top of page 111, in bold:
"When choosing your army, you must nominate one model to be your Warlord. It is always the HQ choice character with the highest Leadership."

Tervigons are not characters.

If disdamn uses the French rules, they forgot the word "character" in the sentence that corresponds to
""When choosing your army, you must nominate one model to be your Warlord. It is always the HQ choice character with the highest Leadership." so that might explain his train of thought

Which is possible, Canada has French as an official language.

Out of curiosity, since to my knowledge there is no requirement that any HQ choice must be a Character, if you picked a Tervigon as your only HQ...I mean, could you do that?

No, that list would be just as illegal as one with only 1 Troop choice.

"When choosing your army, you must nominate one model to be your Warlord"

An army with only a Tervigon as HQ has no Warlord and thus has not followed this rule, making it an illegal list.

As above. It is exactly the same as asking "if i do not follow "list building requirement X" is my list illegal?" - the answer is YES. It does not matter which one.

THis is just a new requirement, relatively, and therefore raises queries.
