Looking to confirm something, just want to see if anyone else has received an e-mail from GWPLC if they have pre ordered a munitorum rule book set.

True, It may be best in a different section but if its genuine then would be news to munitorum edition buyers. I am being a bit cagey for a reason that makes sense if you read the e-mail.

Yeah I got one.

A bit annoyed but at the same time can't fault their customer service.

The only email I recieved was yesterday with just a picture of the contents, cant even guarantee that was due to ordering the set and not just a generic email sent out.

My mate at the shop is phoning to confirm, just had the whiff of scam about it as you may have felt too.

Not sure how it could be a scam to be honest? I either get one or the other on Saturday and may or may not recieve it in an email. It's not like they are asking for our bank account details.

No I know, but you know what like nowadays, anything that gives stuff away is often not what it appears. However great scams of history have not normally involved toy soldiers tbf

Been confirmed by my GW staff mate. They got an official e-mail through just now too. Happy days

Just spoke to GW customer services.

Apparently it's an issue with all the Munitorium editions and nobody can pick them up on Saturday.

The other stuff is legit too so I'm sort of happy now as it's a bonus in a way.

Yeah, happy bunny as can get a few things I fancied for the marines once I know how my raptors (raven Guard) are affected by the changes.

Blinding bit of apology though, and re-affirms my view that GW do have some of the best customer service.

Customer service has always been GW strongest point.

So now that its great news (see what I did there) can you share the details with us?

Basically as the Munitorum edition seem to be delayed fo all who ordered, and wont arrive till Wednesday the 28th.

They are giving free copies of the standard rulebook out on sat to those who pre-ordered the ltd ed. and a £50 voucher to spend in store.

Seemed an awful good deal so I was suspicious.

I ordered the munitorum edition and have not received an email; I'm guessing it's because I opted for shipping to my home rather than pickup at a GW store. There must have been a delay with respect to shipping to the GW stores only.

I ordered it to be delivered to my local GW. I have a live tracking number that shows delivery tomorrow. Seems not all of them are delayed.

Might be UK only? Or issue getting to Scotland?

I got it as well.. and TBH, I don't believe you can make it that large, no matter how many times you do that exercise.
