This is truly amazing! I love it. I especially love how you have the excellent glow effect from the plasma weapons, power weapons, and the inside of the power armor. Well done!

It's all in the rolls.

Love the black. Very well done. Love the use of the Sean Connery head on Argus. Love Aurelius's 'force-throwing some droids' pose.

I think the only thing standing between them and objective perfection is script on the banners, nameplates, and purity seals. Even if you don't want to do whole words, just some scribbles would suffice.

On a subjective, personal note, I think the glow effects are WAY too over the top. That being said, there's a pretty big divide on that issue, and I'm fairly sure I'm in the minority, so take that for what it's worth. (Not much.)

Welcome to the Freakshow!

I myself used to be just like you. The over-the-top glow effects are something I am just now starting to see, and of course, I hated them at first. But, don't worry, if you are like me, they grow on ya

Scribbles are my weak point. I always forget/CBA to do them. I may well revisit these guys and do a few more details on them later however I had 1 month to paint 750 points of infantry for the competition so some things got sacrificed along the way.

I know what you mean about OTT glow effects, people either love them or hate them and I've been trying to tone them down as much as I can recently. The Librarians Psychic hood came out much brighter than I had intended and I had to repaint his head 3 times before I was happy with it. Compared to my Raptors army which has lots of quite strong glow effects these are relatively subtle

I'm going to keep expanding this army for a while with plans for a bigger retinue plus some transport vehicles as fire support.

The glow is great, like how plasma weapon is lighting armour and swords are alive with energy.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

This is seriously the Deathwatch army all Deathwatch armies should aspire to be like.

The mix of chapter iconography, the quality, yes. It's all excellent.
