Hi all,

I can't find any limits on Reserves - looks like you can reserve 100%.

Can someone help me out here.

Cheers

What's this? Deathwing Assault might become more viable/dramatic? I hope this is true.

I can't find any limit on reserves in 7th. Only practical limit is the risk of having nothing on the table at the end of Turn 1 if you Reserve everything and have no Turn 1 arrivers (e.g. drop pod assault).

Yeah, reserves can be up to 100% now. Also since they buffed splitfire to not needing a test anymore, deathwing are really viable again.

Death wing are kind of viable. But strictly you can't reserve everything. It depends entirely.

Death wing are kind of an exception as death wing assault allows you to pick units to arrive on turn one. However. Certain other armies don't have the ability to bring in reserves on turn one. If you then put 100% in reserve it's an auto lose.

Virtually every army has a unit or two that are small, cheap, and can hide themselves completely so that the rest of the army can safely arrive from Reserve.

This plus the speed change to deep striking vehicles means it's going to be Duke Sliscus all the way down!

Dangerous though. If your opponent takes out those two small units it's game over.

Outside Sudden Death (page 133), there is no inherent restriction to the number of models/units placed in reserve.

In other words, it would be silly to place one hundred percent (or nearly that many) into reserve as you would (stand a great chance to) lose.
