p. 48 of the AM book

"...every model must take a dangerous terrain test. If any of the models cannot be deployed, the unit is destroyed."

So if I have 10 Veterans disembarking out of the Valkyrie, I'm going to fail 1.66 dangerous terrain tests. Out of these 1.6 wounds, flak armor allows me to mitigate 0.55 of them, so I end up taking 1.111 casualties on a 10 man squad.


Does this trigger the sentence "If any of the models cannot be deployed, the unit is destroyed" since i can only deploy 9 guys?

Or does "not being able to deploy" only mean that you have suffered a deepstrike mishap or cannot deploy without one unit landing on an enemy model or impassable terrain?

You do to need to deploy a dead model.

It's for cases where enemy units, board edge or impassible terrain prevent all the models being deployed.

How does one determine if a Model has triggered the Dangerous Test prior to Deploying the Model?
