Hi folks, Some of you will remember the other guild crews I have been painting up recently. I finally got round to doing the photography for Sonnia's crew. Im rather happy with the way these came out, the purifying flame not so much, but i might go back in and do some more work on him anyway. As with my other crews this is in the Midnight theme colours. and with the rest of my crews there are on DCB miniatures street bases

I had a lot of fun painting the witchling stalkers and especially painting Samael hopkins, who is the most badass miniature in malifaux.

Played a game with her against Ramos recently and was rather pleased with how much she can blow stuff up, made managing those spiders a lot easier.

This Is Samael hopkins.

Thanks for reading.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Fantastic. I love the dusty effect in the folds of the clothing, and the glow from the fire on the base. Very well done.

Thanks for the comment "darefsky".

The blending works well on these models as the placement of the blend is just as Important as the physical execution of the gradient. so if the colours / blends are in the right place there always going to look cool.

I will say that the right place to put colours / blends isnt set by a single theory of composistion. Its simply wherever will make the model look cool, even if it doesnt make sense from a composition stand point.
