Proposed Rules
Summoning Table
Summoning Warp charge 3 –
If the spell is successfully manifested Roll 2d6. This number is the number of wounds you deal to a friendly unit within 6” with no saves of any kind allowed, and no feel no pain. If nothing can be sacrificed this spell can't be manifested. If its an AV type used D3 glances instead.
Choose 1 of the following, daemonettes, Plague bearers, Pink Horrors, or Bloodletters. The number you rolled is size of the unit you spawn. Furthermore, the unit spawns with no optional upgrade gear at all.
Still deal the 2d6 wounds, but if Psyker wishes to instead summon the following use the following rules to determine how many are spawned.
For summoning flesh hounds or Seekers roll D3+2.
For summoning Flamers or Nurgling Swarms roll D3.
Cursed Earth Change to Warp Charge 2 – leave as is.
Dark Flame warp charge 1– Leave as Is.
Infernal Gaze warp charge 1– Leave as is.
Sacrifice warp charge 2 –
The Caster of the spell automatically suffers a wound with no saves allowed, and no feel no pain. A friendly unit within 6” suffers D3 wounds or D3 Glances no saves allowed, and no feel no pain (If many are in range roll randomly to determine who is sacrificed). If no unit can be sacrificed this spell cannot be manifested.
The Psyker cannot elect to target themselves as the unit to be sacrificed as the Psyker is already a part of the sacrifice. If a brotherhood of Psykers is casting this spell then everyone in the unit suffers a wound with no saves allowed.
If the spell is manifested successfully choose 1 Herald of any of the Four Chaos Gods with 30points of gear. Place the Herald within 6” of where the caster was or is. The Herald enters play at the end of the magic phase as crawling out of warp is a long process. A Herald can’t cast spells this magic phase or add warp charge points to the pool. A Herald can shoot and charge normally.
Incursion warp charge 3 –
A friendly unit within 6” suffers 2d6 wounds or D3 penetrating hits no saves allowed, and no feel no pain (if many units are in range roll randomly to determine who is sacrificed). If no unit can be sacrificed this spell cannot be manifested.
The Psyker can elect to target themselves as the unit to be sacrificed. If the spell is manifested successfully spawn within 6” of the caster, one of the following units at your choice: 3 Blood Crushers, 3 Screamers, 3 Fiends, or 3 Plague Drones.
Possession warp charge 3 –
To manifest this spell sacrifice the Psyker, if the Psyker was attached to a unit, destroy that unit as part of the Sacrifice. In addition a friendly unit within 12” is also sacrificed to aid in the summoning of this great power. (If many units are in range roll randomly to determine who is sacrificed). If nothing is range this spell can not be manifested.
If the spell is successfully manifested replace the Psyker with 1 of the Greater Daemons of the 4 gods.
Should the Psyker fail the summoning remove the Psyker from play as the warp has taken the Psyker completely, but do not sacrifice the unit he was with or a friendly unit.
All sacrificed units used in this spell are removed from play.
Looking for feedback/discussion.

Suggestions as to what is costing too much? The idea is if you are making a new unit there is some equaling exchange to prevent a real growth. (this lowers the infinite growth rate).
I feel like possession should go back to warp charge 3, but I am hoping for more opinions.
If you have a good idea, let it come forth!

Modified the possession to be 3 again. Remove the failed punishments. Except possession, left that as losing the Psyker.

It was meant to buff chaos to the point where they could contend with Eldar and Tau. I wouldn't let anyone not playing Chaos take Malefic powers.
It's a very good power, but it's not OP.

Currently, Malefic powers are ok in a low summoning list. But because there are those who will spam we must bring it down a notch. And in general get 1-3 turns of spawning 10 guys (also know as 3 scoring units) and then a shiny FMC if you roll right is over the top for me.
That said, I would creative input on this. Opinions are more than welcome, but there is clearly simple examples that show this table needs something to not make it an auto include.
When you mention chaos are you speaking of marines or daemons? Because Daemons are the ones who can really abuse this.
