So who is getting either or maybe both of the redone Metro games?

I've always wanted to try either of them and was about to buy Last Light because it's on sale for 10 bucks but I saw that 'definitive' versions are coming this summer for both 2033 and Last Light.

Anyone else looking to get the Redux games or perhaps you can share some insight into the series?

I was reading an article about that the other day on Steam, and several people said the company behind the remakes has done some shoddy work in the past...I can't seem to find it now, though! Plenty of people are complaining about the price, especially the people who already own the game.

I'm waiting for some official reviews after it comes out since I don't own either game.

I went ahead and bought the present edition for 10 bucks.... I won't bother with the redux in case it'll be a resource hog.

I wish I would've bought them, because they went back up in price!

I have the first one. It was okay. Overdid the time limit nonsense though.

I enjoyed both 2033 and Last Light, but I don't know if I'd be willing to pony up for a remake on them. I liked the games, but not so much that I am salivating for more. If I do, I'd just replay the originals.

Doesn't seem worth it. I mean, I just bought Last Light like a month ago. I don't want to buy it again.
Maybe when it has a heavy price reduction.

I'd buy a re-release of ME1 and 2 using the ME3 engine, but not the Metro series. Heh.

Does this remake put in subs for more than just the main dialogue? I play with Russian voices, but they've only put in subs for the most important of dialogue, not bothering with anything else.
