In my (physical) copy of Dark Millenium (that is, the fluff book from the new 7th edition slipcase), the timeline skips from the Howling in M34 at the bottom of page 39 to the Time of Ending in 744.M41 at the top of page 40. starting with The Great Devourer. This seemed odd to me, skipping as it does over 7,000 years of history, including things like the Moirae Heresy, the Age of Apostasy, the Cursed Founding, the Terra Nova Interregnum and the exploits of Lord Solar Macharius.

A friend with the ebook version claims that the timeline in that version contains all that stuff and more starting with Warp Stars and concluding with Tears of the Emperor.

Essentially, I'd like some information from you guys. What version (physical, iBook or eBook) of Dark Millenium do you have and does your timeline have anything between the Howling and the Great Devourer?

I really, really hope it's just my copy of Dark Millenium that is defective, but given that there is no gap in the page numbers, I'm not terribly hopeful...

I have the iPad interactive version. I guess I have it. I see stuff M34, M35 M38 etc. Sorry not familiar with the fluff. Only one or two lines saying something very briefly.

This is what I have after The Great Devourer

762.M41 The Kato Campaign
777.M41 The Labyrinth of Iron
783.M41Rise of the Ancients

So much more, but is that the example you are saying you don't have?

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

I have a two-page spread headed with "Age of the Imperium", concluding with The Howling and then, over the page the heading "Time of Ending", beginning with the Great Devourer (and then proceeding on with the Kato Campaign, The Labyrinth of Iron, etc.)

It sounds like the iBook does have the missing content. Guess we'll see if my physical book is the problem or if all physical books have it missing.

Just compared my epub version to my housemate's physical book.

The epub version seems to have about 2 pages worth of timeline which didn't make it into the paper book.

well hopefully GW'll be kind eneugh to print that info online for all of us with the book. that's just a smidge dissappointing.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I don't think there's anything new there, so if you've got a 6th edition book, you can just check that.

Or read Lexicanum.

Good ole G'dub. Can't even fluff spam without screwing it up. Have we ever had a fluff "FAQ" before?
