I don't think i'd take the Chimera any more with no WCs? Any one still using them over Rhino?
Is the Chimera dead for GKs?

It was a great tool for a psyker warband-unit to sit inside and shoot their stupid strong large blast, if you wanted to run a troll-unit like that.
Other than that, nah. No one would use it even before. Now there is literally no point in doing so.

The GK Chimera is still 10 points cheaper than the AM one and has 5 fire points.
So 3 plasma cannons from a henchmen squad and the brotherhood of psykers large blast and the Inquisitor's hellrifle.

The psykers still have Brotherhood, so you get the same 1 power die for 1 in the squad that you'd get if there were 10 there. It's more that you want to stick in 1 psyker in a henchman squad with another purpose just to get a random power die. Roll on Telepathy and grab a free Psychic Shriek that you can fire out of the Chimera during the psychic phase while you still fire 3 plasmaguns and 2 Jokero out during the Shooting phase.

I suppose you could use it as a sucide bunker for a psyker squad tossing out the vortex blast psyker power.

The advantage to having multiple psykers in the squad is that if you do peril, you only lose one psyker and the others are still there, generating WC and casting powers.
I like the vortex idea. Buy one Chimera and have whatever squad got vortex board it on the first turn (assuming it wasn't their dedicated transport).

Actually the GK psykers got a lot more useful and in many ways better. Roll on telepathy and you will have a bunch of useful buffs and psychic shrieks which are great against most MCs and with WC1 an be 1 diced on all the psykers in range to a target for some random but highly effective damage.
Psykers also make incredible batteries for bigger badder psykers who can use the WC dice to throw around tons of buffs and witchfires. Not to mention fuel a bunch of purifying flames on the units in position.
The chimera's seem overall less useful than the psiback or rhino. This is however not because the chimera became worse, actually it got a bit more durable, but rather the psychic pilot of the other vehicles is a nice buff. The chimera has the best of both vehicles but looses psychic pilot to gain it for a very similar pts level.
In the GKs lists it still has a place as a mobile bunker and in the inquisition dex the rhinos and psibacks are not psykers.

That's a pretty squishy target that is one explodes result away from dying horribly.
