This is my 1850 Nidz. I like the HC AP 2 ignore cover side armor vector strike str 8. I also like the HT ability to have 2 pyschic powers as I think cheap costing nid buffs is the way to go:

1 WL HT TWLD Wings 230 2 pyschic powers 4 wounds flying 12 shots of goodness
2 HT TWLD Wings 230 same
3 HT TWLD Wings 230 same
4 HT TWLD Wings 230 so if your counting now 4x2 8 str 6 vector shots or 48 str 6 shots 2 physhic powers o 8 warp carges and a 24 inch fly plus 18 inch shot

Fast Attack

HC 155

HC 155 str 6 ap 4 flamer goodness with 3x2 so on average 6 str 8 ap 2 vector strikes, which I think can deal with armor 14 just fine
HC 155 can be changed out for more 2 zoey and some gaunts if i think there needs to be a larger focus on vehicle destruction in the new meta.

I really don't think you can rely on S8 vector strikes to take out Av14. You may average 6 of them each turn, but that's going to equal a single glance. It'll take you four turns to glance down a land raider, and that's assuming you can actually get all your vector strikes to hit every turn.

The Zoey's will be better at taking out Av14, but they have their own issues with this (having enough warp charges, passing tests, hitting, penning, coversaves). Then there's the issue of being a 2 wound toughness 4 gribbly in a list lacking T4 target saturation.

That said, I don't have a solution for you. Nid's are not the best at taking care of heavy armour.

The one thing I can think of even though you've got a good amount of psykers if you are going to count on Warp Blast you'll need to activate more warp charges so there's a chance of failure there. I would say if you have one it wouldn't be a bad idea to add in a Tyrannofex with Rupture Cannon (No need for the acid spray as your crones can take care of that tier) And give the TFex a thorax mod (I think Dessicator Grubs are the best bet unless you want to try to glance vehicles to death with haywire - which isn't a bad option)

Isn't Vector strike just 1 hit vs ground targets now?

Looks pretty good. I'd suggest finding 40 more points for Thorax Hives with Electro Bugs for all four Tyrants. That gives you some additional anti-tank, and it works well on Forts, and open top carriers. I would drop that 4th Crone to do that, and spend the remainder on more Troops, either additioal units, or making the ones you have bigger.

Objective secured won't help much, if you can be blasted off the objective too easily. Me? I'd just run two Crones, and in addition to the above, I'd double out the Zoeys for durability, or just add more, for more Warp charges, and grab a Veno or two.

I don't know yet how dominate Psychic is going to be, but "swarms of Zoeys" is a valid way to try it out.
