Oh forgot to include tactics, well the errant and the lancer will be leading the fight from up close and the paladin will stick somewhat close to the guardsmen to lend support if they need it. then the veterans will roam around in their chimera hopefully picking up objectives

Three Knights in 1850, not looking to make any friends. I don't know how well received it would be for friendly games, but in a competitive setting where its allowed I see it running into some problems.
It will do ok, if you are looking at a competitive setting in Objective Missions any solid Objective Secured List will probably beat this pretty badly. For Instance a list with Wave Serpents can keep them away from your Knights, kill your Guard Allies, your shooting isn't going to kill them, and then they are going to take the objectives at the end of the game.
Any flyer lists that has Objective Secured Troops in them will auto win if it goes 2nd and has a good chance of winning if it goes first. No need to kill the Knights when you can deny or steal of the Objectives with Objective Secured. Kill what is manning the Quad Gun, mop up your OS scoring, and them widdle the knights away. For instance a Telsa Cron list with Annihilation Barges and Night Scythes will just win against this army in a competitive setting. Telsa based list, especially if they have Guass Warriors even has a good chance of taking out all of your Knights by the end of a game and tabling you with minimum casualties.
It looks like a fun list for you, but I"m not sure your opponents will enjoy playing against it.

Ah so the list is a bit too tfg for normal casual play? I personally never play tournaments so that isn't too much of an issue for me. Maybe I should drop the errant and beef up the guard?

That is one way to put it. Even two Superheavies in 1850 will get some complaints, but it will not be nearly that of three. And even so, Knights aren't that scary.
I think your suggestion of dropping the Errant is a good one that will allow you to field a better rounded list and one that will get less complaints of TFG?
