So I love that storm troopers have a plastic kit now. And I love the look of the models. But... they don't really look like storm troopers to me, and they won't fit in at all with the Kasrkin models I currently have. The main problem is with the torso, and so I may have found a solution...

My question is, are the Cadian infantry torsos compatible with the Militarum Tempestus box? If not, could they be made compatible easily? If they are compatible, would someone with the requisite parts be willing to win 1,000 internets by mocking one up for me?

Thanks in advance

They're not compatible - the Cadian Infantry has a "flat ending" of their torso, while the Militarum Tempestus have the "round" joint, like Space marines.

Curses. I guess perhaps I could get out the clippers and flatten the Tempestus legs? Thanks anyway

You might just be better off buying the bits you're specifically after in terms of weapons, arms, etc & just converting cadians.

Tempestus Head and pack on a Cadian Body/Legs

You could also switch out the lasgun for the more ornate hotshot from the Tempestus pack for minimal effort.

Depends on whether you want to use the full scion arms or just the guns. I did just the guns & gauntlets on DKoK with GS carapace to make them grenadiers. It was quite a good amount of work. Then of course I choose to remove & hollow out the scion shoulder pads to fit. I'd suggest using scion arms, heads, & packs & cadian torsos & legs with maybe some GS knee & hip/groin/buttocks armor.

The scion arms and heads fit the cadians quite well, if you trim off the "balls" from the arm pieces. I have combined pieces from both kits as well as the beastman gor kit, and they worked fine together.

I have found that the Scion arms (at least the non-lasgun arms) fit pretty well on SM Scout armor.

I noticed that the plastic glue label recommends wearing something akin to a hazmat suit when handling the glue. I have been using it for years and never used gloves or anything nor do I know anyone who does. ShouldI be worried for my health?

Well, there's a slight risk of gluing something together with it. Only slight, mind.
