Subject: Fzorgle theory to Fzorgle practice?

I can't call someone on another forum a idiot? Even when I don't know who the idiot is?
Why not?
By the way, who are YOU to tell ME to leave?
I don't see any rules of etiquette--since I certainly don't think calling someone an idiot to be 'rude' in today's society, I'd love to see why you think doing so on a message board is so rude I'd need to leave.
How about you click that nice little search feature, and see for yourself how many Dakkites have called people idiots. I found 5 pages worth, have they all been properly chastised in red ink and told to leave?
Seems not. Nice double standard.

The term originated on this forum. The "idiot" is "one of us."
By the way, who are YOU to tell ME to leave?
I'm not. I am describing your choices realistically. A mod has already told you that your posting style won't fly, but you are continuing in it.

Insults accrue. Consider the idea of karma.

Who knew.
Yep. Gonna keep on too.
Karma? On the internet? Surely you jest.
Guess all the flaws I pointed out (oh and the other fellow) are just easier ignored than addressed.
Pretty typical so far.

Karma on the internet? Sure. It shows itself when a mod comes down more harshly on a post of yours due to previous posts he turned a blind eye on.

Flaws in what? Are we still talking about Lash? I responded to your post. Maybe you missed it.

Yeah ok man, you browbeat me enough.
I give.
Oh and Lash is A #1 good stuff, only Falcons can beat it all else must fall before it's mightyness. (If you like, you can insert the whine of the month in place of Lash, or Falcons; and repeat.)

Am I the only one who thinks that the whole "fzorgle" thing is friggin hilarious? When I saw it was in the little pop-up dictionary we've got now it made it even funnier.
I don't disagree that the Lash is beatable. It certainly is. My Orks have too many units to care that much about it. Mech Lists can avoid most of the problems of it, and Godzilla will just have to use screens more effectively to prevent itself from being hosed.
That doesn't mean the Lash isn't good. It just means that good players can minimize it's effectiveness in many game situations. That doesn't change the fact that say, a Lash Sorcerer can move units off objectives on the last turn, or use it for a myriad of applications to his advantage in a game.

I also think "fzorgle" is hilarious Voodoo!
The post where triggerbaby debut'ed it was genious!
As for babysitting the sorcerer, just as Blackmoor said, you just add a fzorglelorcer (which is even more hilarious, thanks Abby!) and have him walk up with the thousand sons you already had in your army, or whatever.
Why would anyone take raptors to defend a sorcerer, and how can assault marines wreck raptors when they are the same stats?
And how is a sorcerer mediocre in CC? WS5, Force Weapon, 3 Attacks + 1 for a Bolt Pistol makes 5 on the charge, just like every other marine HQ, and he gets a 5+ inv save to! And hell, if you have to have him babysat, why not use berzerkers instead, they hit alot harder when something is lashed into range!
Oh wait, I forgot.

Most of those instances occured before I purchased the site and since we've switched over to new software I am determined to make Dakka a generally more friendly place for everyone. While every instance of hostility may not be handled exactly the same this is a general precedent of mine that I will try my best to make sure is as uniformly applied as humanly possible whether the person doing the insulting is a first time poster or a 10,000 post veteran.
If you disagree with the Lash's performance you have every right to state your opinion and back it up with facts but there is absolutely no call for the insults or the hostility.
You have been warned before and now again by Iorek and yet you seem hell bent to continue down the same path and that is just not acceptable.
