Catachan arms look too bulky for that WE torso. But the first one looks great.

From experience converting Orc archers into Orks, most quivers can be converted into equipment pouches fairly easily

I am not too sure, but with guardian arms and slightly modified lasguns we may have just found the secret to budget Aliatoc armies.

I don't know that I would call them all that budget - I've actually been finding it pretty hard to find good bitz deals on the WE Cloaks and Hooded Heads. I think a lot of people have already hit on that idea. A pack of 5 WE Hooded heads ran $6.99 and 4 capes for $3.99 from the Warstore and they're out of these bitz and can't say when they'll have more (I asked). I was able to get 10 capes on Ebay for $8.00 and a pack of 20 WE heads (including 10 Hooded Heads) for around $20 there, so it's a little better, you're still looking at ~$2.00 a model just for the head and cape. Throw in the cost of an Eldar guardian body and weapon and you're looking at $3.75 a model. You can get lasguns for pretty cheap, but a conversion like this is probably going to run you close to $4.00 a model. It may be more fun to convert, but any monetary savings you're getting over using metal Rangers will be marginal at best.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Gotta say the conversions show promise. Given the more corded look of Tanith muscle you might want to stay away from the Catachan arms... unless of course you are making someone like Bragg or Corbec or Kolea(who wasn't actually Tanith).

Orks are like those neighbor children who aren't invited to your parties and they come right in anyway.

Well, I have to say its an ambitious project, and the cadian torsos with the wood elf legs don't look TOO off, but the female tops and cadian bottoms are just wrong in my mind. Sorry for the harsh criticism. My suggestion, and I know from experience from when I made my drookian Fen Guard, grab some catachans, or cadians, whichever you prefer (catachans look more motley) and start working on your green stuff skills.

Yeah, those were just the test figs thrown together by ESDK. If you check out my P&M blog on the project here (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/214316.page), you'll see that I'm using WE legs with Cadian torsos. Granted for the female models, I'll be using either the female WE torsos or the female Eldar torsos on WE legs. For arms, I'll probably be using WE arms and then GSing shoulder pads.

If you can get ahold of some RT imp guard arms, they would make perfect Tanith arms.
