I read one of the GW sculptors uses his forehead oil, but yeah, the nose-face join is definately the oiliest place.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

We will however has the Treelord back very soon and that should provide another option if you wanted to have two Treepeople.

Verm, I personally like to use cooking oil to keep my tools from sticking to the green stuff. Oil however is absorbed by FIMO, but I find FIMO less sticky anyhow. I keep a little puddle of cooking oil next to my sculpting tools. When Jeremy worked at the hobby store I know he would go to the coffee shop and get little things of margarine that people use on their muffins. He would use that on his tools... but all his minis came out smelling like butter!

This is gonna sound weird, but you can also brush your took along the part where your nose comes to your cheek. There are oily deposits on the edge of your nose and in a pinch they make a great oil for sculpting. That is a trick my photography teacher taught me in high school.

No matter what tho, try not to lick your tools as green stuff is most probably harmful to you when ingested. Make sure to wash up right after working with it as well since green stuff will leave a film on your fingers. Safety first.

Interesting, thank you for going into detail about part of the process too Sophia! Those mediums seem to make a lot of sense to me. I've tried water, saliva, and petroleum jelly, but they tend to distort any find detail I try to work on. I might just have to pick up on of these dragons once it's done, what are its dimensions? (sorry if its been mentioned earlier)
