I'm over on Tor Elyr, but I can't recommend the server as it stands currently (we kind of got screwed when they cloned Phoenix Throne during the headstart launch, it's kind of dead right now which sucks in an RvR game). We're beginning feedback reports asking for some kind of solution so we can get the population up a bit

Chosen by the name of Hraefn, guild's name is Nemesis. If luck's with us either the pop will pick up or we'll get merged into another low pop RP server soon. Empty PQ's and one other Destruction guild that actually sieges Keeps (and then abandons them because "it's worth more renown and you have a shot at getting a set piece!" - ) is getting old quick.

Grimnar had a low pop count, but now has happily grown to a ballanced medium pop for both order and destruction.

Rumor has it that in a few weeks the ability to transfer characters from one server to another will be implemented. Which will be very nice for those of use who'd like to meet up, but sadly started characters on different servers.

Don't count on that, though. In WoW Blizzard made you pay. What WAR might do is
wait until your server completely sucks and then depopulate your server into
another server, or they might perform server mergers like they did with my server
in DAOC.

This was just my experience with DAoC.

PS: Russ, how will you keep up the maniac gaming schedule for your podcast
if you're holed up with a MMORPG?

That is partly true. They did have free server moves from high population servers to newer or low ones, but you had to check the board to see what servers and when and it wasn't always going on.

My guild just switched Destruction servers because it was so empty it wasn't worth it. Had to wait an hour to do Nordenwatch Scenario and Destruction had all the keeps in tier 2 and there weren't enough order to take them back. I'll probably just play my order char as I don't feel like starting over again. If they do allow a server swap I will do that.

Well, I broke down and got WAR. I'm going to be looking for an RP server on the order side. Any suggestions?

Our server became a transfer server and our destruction guild transferred to... Red Eye Mountain.

I took the liberty of editing it to show everyone where all of us are. I'd like to make
the listings a bit more comprehensive without being overwhelming, so please
tell me what information you need in order to find others. You could edit the article yourself,
of course, or just let me know what to add.

Are the servers divided up into North America / Europe ? (+ others). I imagine I'll be playing on a Euro server since I live in England (assuming that's how these online things work) perhaps create a list for Euro players.

One of my destruction characters, Spitzup, also got transfered over to Red Eye mountain I had previously removed my order character as I didn't enjoy the engineer as much as I had hoped. I'll add your char to my friends list today Mal.

Strimen, I'm totally low level for someone who started before release. I try to stay
in level with my brother so we can run in scenarios together.
