Okay, the Nobz are the first models from the set that I don't think rate very highly. They're just too plain for an elite unit.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Those are nobs? Weaktasm, but I suppose all ork players really need are bigger frames to go nuts with

Is the rhino included? And is it simplified some how, ala the dread?

While I agree the nobs are somewhat underwhelming, I'm stoked that they've included the older Gorkamorka style iron gob head. They've either used that mold or sculpted one very very similar, either way I love it, it's always been one of my favorites.

Plastic chain-axe and drum-fed sluggas? Love it.

edit: my one real gripe is the flood of bionic eyes. Never really thought they fit any model other than a mekboy, but I suppose if you're using these as conversion fodder for flashgitz then they work fine for gitfindas.

Does that Rhino look odd to anyone else? It's probably just an odd angle in a poor quality picture, but it looks shorter and stubbier (from front to back).

I'm not a fan of the nobs.

Very plain and almost 2 dimensional in their poses. (looks like they are doing the 'YMCA').

Yeah, but they're not a bad staring point. Lots of random plastic bling will make these guys more plaltable, and the poses aren't that bad for 2-D.

I'll certainly look forward to scads of them showing up on eBay.

The penny finally drops. I noticed the smoke launchers gone but saw something else was missing but didnt quite know what exactly. Cheers

The models look amazing, come so far compared to what was available when I started out. Shame only a few marine pics are in there. Thats huge load of figs, all that is meant to be in the box? I cant believe the price.

Cool beans... Those orks boyz are clearly 3 piece models with the body, left arm and head all separate. I'm not too keen on the warboss because he's too similar looking to the 2 metal ones I've already got. I would've loved to see a new style of warboss, but you can't go wrong with a Nelson classic. The Dethkoptas are a bit too solid looking for my tastes- I'd rather see the GorkaMorka style, but at least I'll have some cheap filler for a unit. I can always put the mek in the GM style kopta.

The Marines are a bit nicer than the BfM ones, though. Looks like they're a 3 piecer too- gun, backpack, body. I love the multi-melta on the dread, even if it's a shoddy choice against those orks!

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

the nobz are OK. At least they are bigger, and you can always convert them.

the paint scheme is kind of blah.

Is it me, or does every termie look to have his head cocked at one angle or another?

I dig that commander though. Just gotta replace that sword with a Power Fist.

It probably isn't just you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of GW 'dynamic' posing...

They really should stick to 'heroic' posing, especially when designing 'snap together' models.

Agreed. Too much strained dynamic posing makes them look silly. The Termie heads should be facing forward unless the head tilt is necessary for a special pose IMHO.

Nice models overall.

The rhino might, in part be because because it looks like the image curves away from the camera.

I actually like that commander better than the plastic multi-part one. It actually looks like a robed commander rather than a tac marine with a cape holding a lightning claw in the air.

Hear, hear. The multi-part one was good for his bits, though.

I'd rather use one of the metal veterans (mk 2) as commander.
