They would most likely have Sadistic humour, such as break your legs then hiss (read laugh) at you for the next hour, then when you finally start to move, they will break another bone and hiss(read laugh) again.

I like the idea that they can pause from eating/killing stuff and take time to tourture you instead, it doesn't seem terribly niddy like

Mostly the ones without ES though. The rest see well enough not to need waiting. . . or is that AG?

It's AG i think, thats the one that makes nids faster, but then again a Carnifex is always slow.

Slow doesn't make any difference though surely, it still means you die even if its not so quick. And if they can stop then doesn't that show they can think for themselves? otherwise they'd either all pause, or none pause

Even a guard with a fist only hurts it on 4's, 5's if it's a hard carnifex. I use old one eye, he cheats.

I though Old one eye was obselete now, not having a special character section in the nid codex any more?

Nope it does say you can use him, because it says
'Nids are constantly evolving, therefore it is entirely possible for older models to be used in a new edition army.' besides i would need my enemies permission.

Ahh, so its one of those, its not in the codex you just need permission rules is it? That makes more sense. I assume you have to get the rules off the web now then?

Well i just use the 3rd Ed rules, I checked the web's ones and they are the same. So a 4+ I'll be back rule (against anything that kills it!) and automatic wound regeneration means it's quite nasty.

A Nid with I'll be back!? What the hell? But fair enough with using old Ed rules, might make it harder to use in 5th ed due to age differences but who knows

A Carnifex with I'll be back. I know he was a pain to kill, but he looked kinda cute in some form of light to mask his ugly side.

Kinda cute? ok... now I'm scared. the next stage of Nid evolution, becoming fluffy and small and infiltrating the houses of every small child as a bed time toy. then when night time comes, wham! no more little children

Thats the genestealer mark 3. Roll a D6 against them, one a 2+ the person falls in love with it, leaves the field with it and marries it. Then (extremely quickly) the gene kills it and runs back onto the field, as if nothing had ever happened.
