Not really Claws related but...

Also, in an ironic twist on something you threatened to do previously, I'm going to make another promise.
If the package is not signed for, it will be returned to me. If it is returned to me, I will set out everything that is in the box of import and burn it. I will watch it go up in flames.
The video that I shoot of it will be posted to YouTube. I will email you a link, as well as post links to it in open forums.
Remember when you threatened me that, if I sent you anything, you'd burn it and send me a link to the video, Matthew? Well, this way, you'll get what you want (burned models), regardless - MagickalMemories

Yep, only diffrence is its a GUO sword. Honestly, I cant take credit for the pose or bitz choices as it was a commission project and the client sent the stuff. I just did the GS work. I really posted it to show of the kind of detail I plan to put into any of the allied chaos units the renegade company will have.

BTW thanks for the compliment and ultra fast reply.

Ive never tried and ork head, but muscle isnt a problem. However, unless your ready to wait a little while, im competly full on commissions right now. The next opening isnt for at least 3 weeks.

Not claws related... again. and yes, like before, its another commission. Still very much a WIP but the client wanted to see something.

its hard to see that there is indeed some curve to the front. Its not a block.

Taken today up a tthe shop before a small apoc game. I just noticed the left hand isnt done.

Also, im very torn on weather the lower legs should be chipped paint (which right now isnt done) or snow build up like he has been walking in knee high snow all day.

What do you guys think?

and he looks freakin great by the way!!
and the base is really well done too!

Excuse the bad quality, I took them last night, with no light box, and no extra light..

Expect major updates here and mainly at the www.conversioncorner.com site on all things Lorek. While it may seem like I havent been busy on the army here, ive actually been working my booty off on them as well as a bunch of commissions.

Im just waiting until my light box is done being built so I can get some good photos of the guys and not the crap thats in this post.

Pretty much ready for paint. Just needs GS gap filling, nothing special this time, and a chain for the rider the be holding that goes around the neck of the slaugherfiend.

Cool conversion. I like the variety of bitz you put on.

Any way to make the rider more dynamic? He looks rather meh compared to the beasty. And I don't think just a chain and fixing the gap at his foot will solve the problem.

Morifactors would be VERY cool...I am sure I am saying that b/c I'm in the middle of reading the Ultramarines series by Graham McNeill. Just reading about them they sound like a chapter on the very brink of falling to chaos....Who knows. Maybe a company or two allready has and that is part of the chapters crusading. To bring your rebels to justice.

But I love your choice, Very nice project.

The legs are actually cut and bent back a bit. The picture just doesnt really show it properly. But that said, I think your still right and ill see what I can do. Thanks for the advice!

Thats exactly what it needs! While the picdoesnt show the best angle, a more pronounced bent knee would help a ton. Once again you rock rick!

All I can say is, wait til tomorow when the pre paint company commander is posted. Without saying to much, he is a counts as Vulcan whats-his-name special character out of the new dex.

Ive been really busy all around and havent had time to post any pics or really even do any online work at all. I have done more work on the hawk since the pic was taken. Cockpit is done as well as the front and top detailing. Also the small fins and wings have been added. In fact, im gonna go try and take some pics right now. There is such a big diffrence that showing this pic is pretty pointless, well besides making the client feel good inside to see some work done on his model. Speaking of, ive gotten the other 2 hawks to about the level of work as in the pic below. Ill snap some shots of them all together as well. They are taking up my entire table.

Also, this guy is the count as vulcan whats-hisname special character out of the new marine dex. Pic is obviously pre GS and pre claw snip as the character guy has a guantlet that fires a heavy flamer shot but isnt a claw per say. he has since been painted and once I get some pics taken ill updatethe claws log heavily. Ive finished quite a bit for them.

Im also working on an article for bartertown on how to build a new style plague tower. I may or may not also put the article on the www.conversioncorner.com site .
