Your conversion work is really great. The re-posing and custom facial hair is going to make this army look wicked and unique. I'm not a fan of the wolf-dreadnought, mainly because it looks awkward ( IMO) on the 2 bases.
I don't even like space wolves but I already love this army.

the guy who made the other dogdread is BobPanda, and he has some SICK conversions as well.
one of the things that i liked was using the space wolf backpack with the 2 wolf heads on it, cutting out the face of an MK7 marine head and stuffing one of the wolf heads into it.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

Truly grand. I love biggerized marines. And conversions so extensive you can count at least four colours on the miniatures before priming.
Amazing work.

@Col Hammer:
What thickness plasticard do you use when making your True Scale Marines? Do you put your spacers in the shins? What size do you use between the legs and torso? Just curious.
I can hardly wait to see more of your work! Keep it up and please keep updating us. Your work is truly inspiring.

I actually cheat a bit here... I just put a blob of green stuff between the pieces of the cut chin and sort of eyeball it. So the thickness will wary a bit from mini to mini. Same with legs and torso - just a blob of greenstuff to extend the gap a bit. I used to use plasticard (my previous Ultramarines were made that way), but I got the lazybug and moved to greenstuff instead.

Yeah, your dread was the original inspiration. It was BobPandas dread that brought the design back to my mind. So both helped!

@Col Hammer: Awesome thanks! One other question, I need to look on the first and second page, but do you alter the abdomen section of the marine at all before or after you space out the chest pieces? If you do not, then how do you disguise the waist section? My assumption is by knives, pouches and grenades?
One last quick question, did you modify the Chaos Marauder heads at all in order to fit them on the bodies? They are really cool bare head options for Space Wolves!
This is inspiring me to start a wolf army, which was my first army back in second edition, that I never fully finished. Thank you for your hard work, truly inspiring, I cannot say it enough!
Thanks,
Chappy P!

There will be quite big gap between the chest piece and legs that needs to be covered. You guessed it; pounches, ammo bags, purity seals, knives... anything you can find is useful in covering the gap. With wolves it's even easier! Bits of mangy, fleabitten fur that the wolves so love is excellent way of covering the gap.
I glued the marauder heads in place with the help of a bit of green stuff. Some of the heads have hair going the wrong way and that needs to be cut, but mostly they go in unmodified. I then add some hair and beard with green stuff to make them look even wilder.
Welcome to the pack. More wolves the merrier!

Actually, I can't count. I forgot to add little thing called December. It was 113 days, not 82. If that makes any difference...
I'll try to make my updates little quicker this time.

But what makes Hammer unique is the amount of times he changes his mind! It actually takes that 113 days for him to change his mind about 456 times and come back to the same opinion and work on some wolves again

Since the Dognaught's base is so desolate and empty, I'm thinking of putting a corpse of Fenrisian wolf there... Would that be too much? I.e. would I get PETA hit squad after me for doing something that gross?
I mean, it is perfectly normal to put maimed and butchered guardsmen on the base, or lacking those, slavegirls... But would a dead animal cross the line?

Yeah, that might be too much. How about you just put a dead PETA member on the base instead...much more PC.

Not sure about having a corpse of something that the army uses for a symbol is the right message to convey...
Now a shredded Thousand Son or DA helmet/Corpse....that would be fine, and PETA couldn't say anything about it....unless you explain that said corpse was trying to hurt a poor innocent wolf, then you'd have backing!!!
