I think I'll cut the poppy seeds half and half with the other types of rivets - that way I can keep the size and shape variation going which should work ok. Just not looking forward to doing more rivet cutting

Here's a huge update, 1 model is fully riveted, the other mostly. I haven't done any pics of the third as I haven't started riveting it yet. Next is the bases and then next I'll be undercoating.

To be honest - I don't really know where it came from. A friend bought them and gave them to me last time they went away.

BTW, so everyone knows, I won't be updating for about 2 weeks because I'm going away. But next update should (hopefully) see fully riveted and fully based stompas!

Amazing. The concept sketch reminded me of the House of Commons/Big Ben Crocodile rampage, They used to show on Sunday at lunch. Great music, great credits boring political show. Also I like the R2D2 on steroids look, like the ancient GW Dread. The fact they look similiar but different I like, they look as if they've been created by the same twisted Ork mastermind.

What are you using to cut your rivets? I have found that a leather rotary punch works nicely for making medium to large rivets in nice even circles from plasticard.

Plus, you can do maintenance on belts!

Here's bringing it to the top with an update!

Here we go getting to the painting stage. All the models are fully riveted, based and undercoated ready for painting. Painting starts this week and hopefully shouldn't take much longer than about 2 weeks worth of work, but that may be hopeful.
