Rules with models is how the Vyper was released, also one of the attack bikes, and the Falcon also. Possibly also the Fire Prism. I do recall seeing the datafax cards for 2nd ed in the instructions for them.
The Vyper had rules in 2nd ed codex, but the model ddin't come out for quite a few months afterwards. The official rules came out in WD with a card datafax, so did the Falcon and fire prism.
But this was also back when codices were written better, and had way more fluff, but the basic rules were - while better than the dog's breakfast of RT, worse than now.

LOL !
I was pretty ticked when 3.5 came out, as it hit the shelves only a year after I had purchased the core rulebooks for 3.0 :(. I can't remember exactly how long 3.0 was on the shelf before the advent of 3.5, but it seamed pretty short to me. So I don't know about babies, but it did make me want to punt midgets.

Compulsory, mind-effecting. Encounter power.

Hell, A friend of mine had EVERY 3.0 book. When 3.5 came out he was furious because the only real changes that were made should have been playtested out of the game in the first place. I have roughly 85% of 3.5 and had played it since day 1. The ONLY problems with 3.5 were the skill system (which is the only improvement in 4e, they finally fixed it) and grapple took a while to get the hang of for most players. 4.0 is a table-top tactical rpg, which has it's own merits, I suppose, but BROKE 30 YEAR OLD CANNON. I hear there is a good revision on the web somewhere that incorporates the 4e skill system into 3.5. I'm going to go lurk for that now...

That being said, I'll still give you a 0 if you bring more than 5 eldar skimmers. Don't be that guy.
Also, strippers. |
