What I'd like to see is orks get some sort of weapon that killed tanks. Hoping for a glancing with a rokkit to kill a landraider. Ouch. Especially against a landraider gunline... the idea makes my mekky skin crawl.

Agreed. As an Ork player that hasn't seen anyone else besides other Orks voluntarily come out of a transport in several months, I feel like Lootas aren't strong enough. Played an 'ard boyz RTT last weekend, and I got lucky on one scenario, my genius opponent was rushing to his exit point in a rousing game of "Escape the Exterminatus", and ignored my 26 Lootas which proceeded to down 8 of his 9 outflanking speeders before he simply surrendered. Sounds overpowered... but it didn't help me out at all, as my other opponents were... Orks, against which I could only counter-battery against his Lootas, as I was facing a wall of scratch built AV14 battlewagons, and had no line of sight to the Trukks that might as well have been glued to his rear armor for the entire game, and Marines/Inquisition bringing 8 Land raiders, never disembarking until the outcome of the match was already decided. I love my Lootas for a friendly game, but in a competitive game... they aren't strong enough!

Don't you guys have Zzap! Guns? What about in assault? A big part of this game is deciding what you need for battle. If you might face off against some AV14 armor, you might want to take at least one weapon that will be able to do battle with AV14. That would be like a Guard Player demanding that their Heavy Bolters be S9 because that's all they took for heavy weapons.

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."

I'm not complaining in normal games. I'm complaining that anti infintary AV14 tanks = insta death.
