nah i wasn't going on that basis more a comparison to the greater demon of slaanesh and the slaanesh demonettes ie.... the look more athleticly toned, instead of being very bulky.

but still.... its freakin good.... i mean the muscle on the chest looks amazing.

(Un)Holy leather underwear, that is awesome! The sword is great. The model just screams excess. Give him some pierced nipples with chains, as for wings I'd say he looks fine without them but if you are going to do them I would do feathered.

Cant wait to see how it turns out.

After taking some time off for some tests, I'm back at things again, and am pleased to be able to announce that the Daemon Prince is complete, but - sadly unpainted, which is a problem soon to be remidied.

The model is great!, but I must agree with Muller the sword just doesn't seem to fit. Maybe after painting it will look more sinister.

captain.gordino, sad to say that currently I can't take your advice as It's been raining buckets for the last few days.

Well then, I'd recommend you gather them up and stack them in your basement and then have the golden boy stand by with a bat and deflect any which fall while you're taking your pictures.

Profuse apologies fellow Dakkites for the immense delay. I'm halfway across the country from before, so things are a bit hectic.

I've roughed on the paintjob for the D-Prince, and I'm feeling quite pleased with the overall look. One thing is bothering me, and that is the sword. Anyone have any suggestions on what to paint it?

I would say paint it slaanesh purple with some weathering around the blade.

I would paint the sword Silver and Gold, with blue Highlights/lighting.

It would fit the sex and drugs theme, probably not the Rock n roll bit tho....

I think a Slaanesh Daemon Prince wielding a wraithbone sword would be quite appropriate.

Florescent green or pink.

I really do like that sword. I think wraithbone is the way to go - very fluffy. And the combat drug injectors are definately a plus.
One idea for the wing options - I have disks for some of my chaos guys to ride on that make a good way of doing the "wing" or "bike" option. That is Tzeneetch of course, but what about some kind of huge flying thing his base fits in to rep wings?

Just one question people... Anyone have good pics of wraith bone? Because I'm not exactly sure what it looks like...

Painting is going well... Or at least that's what I keep on telling myself.

I've worked liked a beaver (is that the right term?), or rather, like a crazy beaver, and have gotten a good chunk into detailing up the D-Prince.

I'm note sure about the sword: Leave as is ~ Make blue randomness into little faces ~ Or do something completely different.
And am also looking for good suggestions for tattooing (what colour, pattern, how much, etc.) as it seemed something suitibly Slaaneshy to me.

I like the idea of painting tortured faces all along the blue portions of the blade.

For fine detail tattoos Ive seen some people use a small felt tip pen to ink their models. But it requires a varnish or sealant afterwards to stop it from smudging

that turned out pretty awesome , I am not a huge fan of the sword but it looks anyways .

Just to note slann, it's only about half done there's a lot more texture to be added to the skin and the rest of it in general...
